Zurück aus dem Tiefschlaf starten wir motiviert und mit einem fantastischen Team, um unser geliebtes Format aus 2021 neu und regelmäßig zu veröffentlichen.

Für Folge #2 hat sich Stephan Zovsky mit unserem Host Moritz getroffen und über seine musikalische Reise von Fusion Festival, Kassetten Aufnahmen von Radio Shows, Psytrance DJ Zeiten bis zu seiner Arbeit bei 3000GRAD gesprochen. Freut euch auf spannende Geschichten aus Stephan's DJ- und Produzenten-Leben. So ist Stephan schon mit 12 Jahren von zuhause heimlich mit dem Fahrrad zum mysteriösen Fusion Festival gefahren, oder hat in seinem Kinderzimmer mit Kassetten coole Songs aus Radio DJ-Shows mitgeschnitten. Einfach, um sie selbst danach wieder hören zu können. Aus dieser Verbundenheit und puren Leidenschaft aber auch den Einfluss von seinem Kumpel Sandro kam Stephan zum Auflegen. Er war noch nicht einmal 18, als er bereits als Psytrance DJ die Dance Floors der Szene in seinen Bann zog. Warum es damit ein paar Jahre später ein Ende fand und wie Stephan zu seiner aktuellen Szene Familie "3000GRAD" um seinem jetzigen Techno Sound kam, erfahrt ihr in dieser Episode vom SUBGROUND TALK. “Wir” sind SUBGROUND - Ein Veranstaltungs- und Szenekollektiv, welches aus der unabhängigen Streaming-Plattform subground.org (https://subground.org/) hervorgegangen ist. Unser Host - Moritz König - und (3000GRAD-Verantwortlicher) Molle aka Mollono.Bass gründeten die Plattform 2020 als Support für die vom Corona Lockdown gezeichnete Szene, sodass sich diverse Clubs und Kollektive Online darstellen und Spenden sammeln konnten. Mittlerweile steht SUBGROUND unter anderem hinter verschiedenen Veranstaltungsreihen wie Klangwald und Rave Cage und arbeitet eng aber unabhängig mit 3000GRAD zusammen.

Olaf Hilgenfeld and Iftah Gabbai aka Skinnerbox met under strange circumstances in Berlin back in 2003. The first years of their musical marriage has been a rather abstract electroacoustic journey that slowly got transformed by the neo-hippie rave renaissance that washed Berlin the years after. While growing up with places like the Bar25 and legendary party makers as the Bachstelzen, Skinnerbox always maintained a very individual identity, famous for their infamous improvised and truly live played shows (reaching another peak while performing a 12 hour live set at Kater Holzig, Berlin 2013) notoriously free from any obligation or trends. With a good dozen of singles on labels like BPitch Control, Darkroom Dubs, Bar25 Records, Tonkind and more plus a highly acclaimed full length studio album on Doxa Records ("If this is the future of techno, then we have a lot to look forward to!", Xlr8r) Skinnerbox have positioned themselves well above the inflationary electronic scene hailing from Berlin.
In 2009 Skinnerbox released the sbx 2049 - a drum machine which made them the first artists to release an instrument in conjunction with Ableton.
In 2014 - after 3 years of intense work - Skinnerbox ended up with another official Ableton Live instrument, an epic drum machine which is unlike anything you ́ve ever seen before: Time & Timbre.
