Raus aus dem Spätsommer und rein in den Herbst: Wir freuen uns sehr über den Mix von @xyiz aus Leipzig! Als Teil von gleich mehreren Kollektiven (KBK, Hydration, Krach bei Nacht) und mit mehreren Releases in diesem Jahr hat er bewiesen, wie unglaublich ambitioniert er hinter den Decks und im Studio ist.
Während er im Club meistens schnellen House und Detroit spielt, hat der groovemaster passend zur mood der goldenen Jahreszeit ein dubbiges, treibendes Mixtape gebastelt.

Shimmy Robin, raised with rhythm, is a Hamburg based artist and part of the collective OSZIL. Together with dj blip, she hosts the event series blipmotif at Golden Pudel Club.

Growing up, she visited classical concerts, playing moody piano pieces and absorbed her mother’s early 2000s R’n’B, Soul and Hip Hop CDs. All that influence is mirrored in her carefully selected tracks. She takes the crowd on a trip through technoid and house subgenres. You will barely hear her play a single sound pattern, since there is too much to explore musically for her. From hip shaking and chest bumping UK's and Detroit's underground scene to jazzy, funky and latin vibes with some classical elements such as piano and vocals: You’ll hear all of that. In terms of her techno sets, whether it’s deep hypnotic, driving tribal, four to the floor or breaks - her soundscapes leave no one standing still on the floor. The key to her soundscapes is exploration rather than restrictions, which leaves room to catch and monitore the audiences moods.

"I would call myself really lucky when it comes to chances and support in this industry, dominated mostly by men. 
Maybe because of this, but also gratefully, it was male DJ who gave me the last push and encouraged me, to finally get started. It was him and another male DJ friend who believed in me and made me visible by inviting me to their party series: shoutout to my homies Piano Riffs <3 

Nevertheless, I’m still noticing inequalities when it comes to booking at clubs or festivals in the FLINTA+ artist community. The fact that I rarely find music by FLINTA+ artists, when searching for it, also proves that. I’m sure there a plenty of FLINTA+ artists out there, but they are still invisible - concerning both, DJ’s and producers. However, I see changes for the good and and I’m happy to be part of this movement. 

Writing the reply to this question, I wish that we will reach a point, where this question would no longer have any relevance, with equality finally being a reality."

"I gained access to electronic music as a child through my family, with my father as a DJ and my mother as a passionate Berghain visitor.
After I moved from Brandenburg to Weimar for my studies, my sound developed more diverse and increasingly genre-fluid.
The set published here, however, is a pure techno set, in which I have carful put together a comprehensive selection, which should take the listener by the hand from the beginning. My ambition is to hypnotize with rhythmic, minimalistic and driving atmospheric techno and to completely take over the senses. Hoping that it invites you to dive in and close your eyes.

"I'm Maxim, 21 years old, born in Kassel but  lived and moved around in Stuttgart for a few years now.
I mainly take analogue photos on film and Polaroid. 
My work deals with, intimacy, memories, nostalgia, being queer and being a young person in this time and age. 
Quite often, however, it's not a direct exploration of themes that I choose, but simply photographing my friends, short acquaintances, lovers, family and my surroundings. A kind of visual diary for me and my personal environment. 

DISCLAIMER: The German proverb "Am Arsch der Welt" translates to "At the ass end of the world" in English. It means that someone is in a very remote or insignificant location that is far away from everything. It is often used to express that someone is in a place that is very far away or difficult to reach.

The image shown is part of the "(am) Arsch der Welt" series, in which I create Polaroids in unidentifiable places that are previously foreign to me. In this case, the hometown of my friend. Whenever I visited him "am Arsch der Welt", we explored the area and I photographed his ass. With every photo, the foreign place, the ass of the world, dies more and more for me. But there is always a new, undiscovered ass of the world. So it's a never-ending journey :) "
