Monograph For Orchestra

Composer, arranger, recording artist, trombonist, guzheng player, conductor, and producer.  All of these labels and more describe Cleveland-based musician, Kris "skinnyk" Morron.  Over the last 20 years, skinnyk has had the good fortune to perform and record with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band, Mifuné, Revolution Brass Band, Trepanning Trio, The Aphrodesiatics, Swank Motel, XELA, and so many more incredible musicians.  

After many years of playing on the road and in local clubs, Kris is focusing most of his efforts recently on recording and producing events.  In 2013, he successfully produced a tribute concert for the 20th Anniversary of the Tim Burton film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. He covered all aspect of this event including arranging the music, hiring and rehearsing the musicians, arranging the venue, promoting the show, and conducting the orchestra.  Speaking of conducting, Kris spent five years as a conductor within the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony organization.
