Skins & Needles will be opening for Ziggy Marley at The Uptown Theater in Napa, Ca on July 27, 2012.  We wanted to come up with a special set that would showcase what we do as a duo, but also appeal to reggae/dancehall fans.  After rehearsing and putting the set together, we both listened back and loved it so much that we wanted to put it out!

In between tours and club dates, Skins & Needles has also managed to stay creative and productive in the studio this past year. “Renegade Snares” is their new mix CD with dance friendly remixes + edits featuring Max MacVeety’s live drums and Dj Zeph’s scratching, mixing, and blending. This 2nd mix CD from the Oakland, Ca duo features a more Dj friendly approach than “Backbeat Symphony” which was formatted closer to a live set. “Renegade Snares” is also for keeping your ears and hips occupied while Skins & Needles work on their full length album of all original material
