So I've been creating 3 or 4 sequences in Quantum, so wanted to see what I could do with just one four step sequence and moog model model 15 (nothing else other than audio share to capture in audiobus).
This represents Quantum at it's simplest level. I'd even say simpler than MidiSequencer.

Moog M15 is doing all the work here, Quantum just drives the pitch to create a nice pattern.

Main features of the M15 patch are 1) detunes OSC 1,2 & VCO 2) ping pong delay at 100% mix and 80% feedback, timing =258ms to match 30bpm sequence.
3) VCF & Fixed filter used as traditional moog filters 4) envelopes used to define definition to notes and 5) mixer used to blend.

I met Raf Simons years ago at 10 Days Of Techno in Ghent, Belgium. He sat for hours quietly listening to me until the early hours of the morning. Afterwards I found out that he was a huge fan of my Plastikman album ‘Consumed’ and linked by our shared love of music, art and fashion we stayed in contact and developed a great collaborative friendship!
Raf recently celebrated his first collection at the helm of Calvin Klein and not only invited me to perform at the after-party but also to create a special mix for the dinner he was planning as part of the celebration. Knowing that Raf is very open-minded to the outer reaches of cerebral Electronic Music, I felt it was appropriate to create a mix that weaved through some of my favourite Techno tracks that don’t always find their way into my normal four-to-the-floor club sets.

As Quantum app nears completion....

An experiment in probability+humanise in the new Quantum app.
Two sequences - 1st for Sunrizer, 2nd for Model 15 playing a drone patch I have. Each sequence is only 1 step repeating, but with a 78% probability of playing. 
The 1st sequence is faster - the 2nd 1/8th speed.

Played through Crystaline & recorded in directly to AudioShare in AB2.

This experiment was again a minimalist sequence (can't get much smaller than 1 step!) with a more cinematic feel to it.

I had recorded an even better one earlier using AUM, but M15 kept disconnecting.

%probability in Quantum is per step and can now either skip a step or mute it.
hat you are hearing here is also the humanise to add note variation.

If recording again would probably make M15 notes less varied...
