SCI+TEC welcome Parisian producer Marwan Sabb to the family with the excellent "Tsar System" EP.  

Having first come to prominence through his releases on Time Has Changed, the young French/Tunisian artist has steadily crafted his own sound and style. It’s his minimal mastery that has garnered the attention of many and with his latest double-header he continues to impress.  

“Tsar" is the perfect tool for the DJ. Peaking at nearly 11minutes and with an unrelenting, steady and strong groove, its simplicity is its strength. On the flip, “Dante" delivers fluid movement. It’s Toms and soft bassline, together with the chopped vocal, create an impressive and effortless flow. Mysterious, yet with no menace, its a track that you can easily get lost within.

<p>Ilija brings synth warfare to the table in these two tracks and &#8220;Delusion&#8221; kicks in with a crisp rhythm section, soaring electronics and a lengthy breakdown that is prone for mayhem. Things continue in the same vein on &#8220;Syndrome&#8221;, yet with a slightly more mystical vibe. Haunting atmospherics and intricate programming pave the road to euphoric arpeggios, as yet another grand breakdown ensures maximum impact.</p>

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

The new Intec release from Avision is the techno alias of Anthony Cardinale, who under his birth name has featured on labels such as Toolroom and Suara. Focused towards a harder techno sound, Avision tracks have been released on Victor Calderones Matter, Mark Brooms BeardMan plus Sians Octopus. Picking up support by taste making DJs like Nicole Moudaber, Pig&Dan, Carlo Lio, Kaiserdisco, and of course Carl Cox. Based in America, Anthony Cardinale is a popular DJ in his hometown New York. Currently living in New Jersey, he has also played other American cities including Denver and Las Vegas. 

"Mind Of The Man - Intro" begins with an ambient start that progressively builds until the kick drum is unleashed to lead the track. Combining gentle synths and solid percussion this intricate slice of techno is the perfect EP opener. Lifting things up a gear, the second track "Mind Of The Man - Outro" has liquid background textures like waves laping against the shore, whilst the hypnotic lead synths build with intensity. Finishing with a descent into ambience, this is the perfect outro tool for any techno set. Third on the release is "Choppin" which used an electric vocal sample to create the core of it's rolling groove. Loopy techno with fluttering hi-hats and expert programming, this jackin' track is similar to the work of seminal artists such as Truncate and Psyk. Finishing things off, "The Other Things" has a high energy clap rhythms that combined with fast flowing hi-hats, provide the tracks driving force. Heads down techno at its best, it's dancefloor focused ferocity takes no prisoners.

The new Intec release comes from Tomy DeClerque who is a Slovenian DJ at the forefront of his home country's electronic music scene, and along with his own solo music, he has collaborated on tracks with the likes of UMEK and Cristian Varela.

With a number of previous releases on Intec, Tomy DeClerque's first releases on Carl Cox label was in 2010, and has also released on other imprints such as Toolroom, Phobiq, 1605, Blu Fin and Mauro Picottos label Alchemy.

First on the EP is Accident and its monstrous kick drum which sets the tone for the rest of the track that builds with heavy claps and morphing acid pulses. Stabbing vocal phrases add some uplifting energy to this high octane slice of techno, which takes no prisoners with its dancefloor focused style.

Track two XoX takes things up a gear with its menacing lead synth and rattling hi-hats that form a part of its mechanical groove, and that moves with the force of a freight train. Dark and mischievous, there is no doubt this track is perfect for peak time club sets, and will be a vital addition to the arsenal of any Techno DJs sure fire crowd pleasers.

Skober is a Ukrainian techno DJ and producer with his unique deep-techno style. Having good music background and experience playing in rock band in his early youth it is no surprise that after being infected by House vibes this young man jumped on the right wagon. 

Keeping up the original works for his home label Skober has done lots of tracks and remixes for labels like Drumcode, Phobiq, Respekt, Trapez, Fone Audio, Remain, Rhythm Converted, Spark Musik, Code, Organism. There were numerous entries in techno and minimal tops on different music shops all over the world done by Skober's music and he got support from some serious players in this industry. 

He is supported by such famous artists as Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Slam, Dubfire, Sasha Carassi, Markantonio, Luigi Madonna, Harvey McKay, Mark Reeve, Spektre, Tom Hades, Axel Karakasis, Steve Parker Loco & Jam, Mr. Bizz, RedHead and many others. But he is not running over the quantity of tracks as his main point is quality and ideas. So watch out and support!
