Wie die Prinzessin auf dem Sandkorn legen wir uns mal wieder auf den Läufer und lauschen dieser Wüste, der wir eigentlich noch fremd sind.

Interview:

How and when did you get into electronic music? 

I got into electronic music at an early age because of my brother Johan & Sister Jenny. Trough the years i have gone trough the most electronic genres. As long as it`s good music i don`t care about genre :)

Which musical moments have been espescially memorable to you? 

It`s must be the first early morning i started producing , December 2012. Still remember it very clear that i know i was hooked :) Since then it`s been a daily routine.

Which plans do you have for the future?

My plan is to improve myself ,my sound and my knowledge of music and other stuff in general. I always compete against myself and i always want to improve me as a person and my music.

If you could choose to play at any venue in the world, which place would it be?
 
I see myself as 90 % Producer and / 10 % DJ :) Im still in the early stages of my DJ career i think so ask me again in a year or two i might have an answer :) . I think i need to DJ to improve me as a producer so i will combine the two and see what i can make of it :). To me music is an essential thing , and to be able to make music brings me a lot of joy and makes me feel good :)

Who are Anemoia?

Anemoia is a neologism meaning a nostalgia for times you've never known…… Like listening to a song for the first time that evokes a sense of knowing deep within. You linger in the mysterious and transcendent moment, so clear and perfect like still waters, you can see yourself reflected. 
Both established DJ’s in their own right & respectively natives of Tunisia & Morroco; Houssem Hamzaoui & Hichem Chlayah, 2 kindred spirits joined forces to create the dynamic duo “Anemoia”. Both artists developed a passion for electronic music from an early age forging their talents in DJ platforms throughout Tunisia where they are based. This promising young duo aspire to share their message through music and their ability to create and express profound sentiments with captivating, hypnotic melodies and penetrating haunting emotions drawn from inspiration of their surroundings. TantRut is a DJ from a tiny Swedish island called Brännö where he started playing on legendary full moon beach parties. He usually plays eclectic mixes with music from around the world. More recently he picked up producing together with his fellow islander Högt i Tak. This mix contains their first collaboration. The first ideas for this Deep and Smooth mix came during the dark and stormy winter months. That inspired him to create his darkest and deepest mix so far.
