Dystopian trip through a world on the brink of agony. A dreadful journey starts for our two modern day travelers, seeking new horizons. Over there, space and time do not matter any more. Passing through menacing territories or raging skies, they are pulled by a form of life. The quantum attraction leading our two travelers towards this mysterious tunnel grows higher and higher. It feels like a part of themselves is already on the other side. Behind this gate lies Otrohn, the lost city.

PETRU

The Corsican techno artist and producer PETRU is a creative, charismatic and energetic Live performer.

From the Kolibri Space Shuttle he observes and cruises through constellations that he translates into sonic experiences.

His passion for storytelling drives him to experiment with various sub-genres of techno developed through NSTNKT, Kolibri, Grounded and Tribute series.

PETRU’s music is oscillating between hypnotic and dark beats, melodic and beautiful journeys, from impactful techno rollers to experimental soundscapes – occasionally paying homage to his major sources of inspiration.

Swiss outfit Adroit are set to release the next chapter of their recent VA series titled Archive III Part Two that includes eight underground tracks including ANNĒ, Lyric, KaioBarssalos, GEAN, Antidote MT, Hanubis, Dan Whyte.

Lausanne-based Matthieu Benjamin contributed a stand out for us in this dense package and we expect to hear more great things in the near future as he has remixed the likes of Jay Clarke on Blackaxon and runs his own imprint Temporal Variation.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Tension” that has a raw and dystopian sound. Using hypnotic textures to create a storm like atmosphere with pulsing, electrified stabs and a double kick pattern, this is a creative and fully functional contemporary creation.
