Wonderfully put over message Sue. Perhaps a bit all in vein now Donnie is back. In response to Donnie's words about peeps taking themselves to seriously I would agree, and I never seen myself as any great musician, cause I simply cannot play what my idols can who are way ahead of me and leave me behind by miles. So for me music is a hobby and nothing more. I can run what I do into the ground quite easily and do not like everything I create myself, and enjoy other peeps music far more greater and always have. But peeps on the cloud such as Donnie who churn out stuff at a vast rate every day. I could never follow on the cloud. Simply cause that would mean me having to give up every body else just so I can listen to him, and keep up with him. So just who does think they are that awesome here is my question. I think what Donnie does is very good at times and he can be a very creative guy at times and have me amazed with what he does. But even if my all time fave mainstream artist put music out at this rate no way on earth could I keep up with that either or want to follow him for doing such a thing. It takes many mainstream artists months to make an album, and that's why it turns out so good at the end of the day. If they was to do it Donnies way I am pretty sure it would never say the same thing, and be nowhere near as exiting or even good.enough to buy the damn thing. I know Donnie is not churning out albums, and I am not saying he is not good enough to do so, but honestly with how he goes about doing what he does is all very well, but far to much food for thought to be taking in everyday for my liking, and that's a good proverb from the bible if I remember rightly. There are more peeps in this world than just Donnie, and he needs to wake up and smell the coffee a bit, and get some control over himself. He is very much destroying himself on that score, and only Donnie can put that right.himself. Nobody else.

DOG FACE BRIDGE
It was late at night, October 1953
Wind howling, branches humming, leaves raining down from every tree
I was trying to tune the radio, but the signal seemed to shift and fade.
Bits of news from the Korean War, prisoners, whispers of atrocity,
Just then I heard a fearsome racket from the road down by the Kankakee,
The night Howard DeSabatine crashed his Chevy out on Dog Face Bridge.

My Dad appeared at the doorway, he said, “Call the sheriff right away,
“Howard D” and Linda just flew by, like bats to hell, I’m going to see if they’re okay,
He’s nothing but an aggravation, he’s no damn good if you ask me.”
My Mom said, “Better hurry out there Robert, they might be needing help right away,
It’s windy, cold and lonely tonight down by the Kankakee.”
The night Howard DeSabatine crashed his Chevy out on Dog Face Bridge.

My sister said, “You know, I think Daddy’s right, Howie’s just plain hard and mean,
Why just this morning Linda phoned me up, saying they had a terrible fight,
She said he kicked out Kansas, drove down to the swamp and shoved him out the door,
She was just a girl when she got that dog, she’d had him seven years or more.
I told her I saw Kansas, lonely and lost last night on the road down by the Kankakee.”

No, it wasn’t long at all, my Dad came back in looking awful pale and kinda’ small,
He never said much about what he saw that night
But the schoolyard buzzed with the lurid tale alright
Howard D, he walked away from that crash, saying he had no memory
But Linda’s arm was tangled in the steering wheel,
Her neck was severed by the windshield glass
They found a collie’s headless body sprawled thirty feet out in the swampy grass
They said they heard a howling through the misty moonlight over Dog Face Bridge.

Some people say seeing is believing.
Well, I don’t know about you,
But I’ve seen a few…
Things.
I don’t want to believe.

That was a long time ago, the road is only lonelier because the bridge fell down,
Sometimes around Halloween kids looking for a thrill venture out from town.
They say that if you stand just so, you’ll see a woman’s body with the head of a dog
Beckon like Anubis from the water’s down below, but me, I don’t go,
I can’t stand the sound of wind whistling through the trees
I never drive alone on that road down to the Kankakee, I don’t want to see
The place where Howard DeSabatine crashed his Chevy out on Dog Face Bridge.
