It was my birthday recently and I thought it might be nice to celebrate by giving something back to everyone who follows me. 
I absolutely love the Deadmau5 track "The Veldt", the beautiful, almost childlike melody has been stuck in my head ever since I first heard it years ago. 
If you've never heard it, look it up - it's amazing!
I have made this track in dedication to "The Veldt". It's not an exact copy - in fact it's totally different - different chords, different melodies, different structure, different vocals... BUT the over-all sound is very similar - so similar that I could never actually release it..... instead I'm uploading it here as a free download to say thank you for supporting my music ❤

To say thank you for the amazing support and love people have given my album, I have a free gift for you...

This was the prototype for my track "Aggregate", the first track on the album. It is a chilled remix of Chicane's epic trance track "Halcyon" from 2000. 

I made the first version of this a few years ago and have tweaked it every so often. I even tried to get it licensed for release, but no joy... 

When I realized I was making an album (it wasn't obvious straight away), I wanted it to start with a nice, building, intro track so I revisited this project and used the template as the basis for "Aggregate" - you'll hear a lot of the same sounds in the two tracks. 

So without this, there wouldn't be "Aggregate". 
It's been on my youtube channel for quite a while now, but I have tweaked it once again and made it available to download from Soundcloud.

(Obviously I claim no rights to the original, which for me remains one of the best trance tracks ever made)
