Diesen Weg musste ich wählen und ich hatte die Wahl,
doch die Angst vor dem Ende war mir stets eine Qual.
Es war so endlos hart mich damit zu arangieren,
und ein letztes mal in den Sonnenuntergang zu maschieren.
Jetzt sitze ich vor dem Spiegel, doch er ist völlig leer,
jetzt ernähre ich mich von Blut, denn ich bin ein Vampir.

(2009-2013) three destructive years and a homecomming...

...im Herbst des Abschluss Jahres 2009 verschlug es Dan mit seiner damaligen Lebensabschnittsgefärtin in den tiefsten Süd-Westen. Eine fremde Stadt. Ein Neuanfang möglich. Beste Voraussetzungen, da seine Lady sehr musikalisch war und sogar aus einer Musikerfamilie entstammte.....DOOOCH....Die Muse war wie geraubt und vergraben. Nichts sollte von Erfolg gekrönt sein, keine Ideen zündeten...Gänzliches Werk war vergebens...
Nach etwas über drei Jahren „suffer and survival“ verließ Skully die Pfalz und folgte dem Strom der Vertreibung und des Unwillkommen seins gen Heimat, wo dann erst nach vier Monaten wieder frisches Blut durch seine Adern gepumpt wurde und er, nachdem er den RESET-Knopf fest drücken musste und wieder bei null anfangen. Der kreative Geist schlummerte allerdings weiterhin tief und fest. Doch ohne Boden unter den Füßen war dies ohnehin erst einmal sekundär wichtig...

(2014) skullies awakening VOL.5 „manchmal kommen sie wieder“....

...das neue Jahr war wie ein künsterisches Erwachen aus einem künsterlich künstlichen Koma. Zwar immer noch nicht wirklich wieder zu Hause angekommen und mehr nur existent, nicht lebend, einem Schatten gleich gab es nach und nach diverse Versuche mit Coverversionen, ReMiXEN alter  DEMON DiViSiON Songs und sogar das Texten und Komponieren neuer Werke sollte besser als jemals zuvor von der Hand gehen...Skully van Skull wurde aus der Taufe gehoben, da das Kind ja auch einen Namen braucht....
