Get Twisted Records welcomes Danish rising star Runge. Hailing from Aalborg, long known for its production and DJ heritage from the likes of Noir, Runge looks set to make his impact on the world of House.
His debut track entitled “Bump & Shake”, a collaboration with fellow Danish producer Notize was released on New Yorks legendary Nervous Records, setting the tone of things to come.

Title track “Deeper” sits perfectly between an infusion of disco and house. Filled with a strong groove, punchy drums & vocals that can only be described as infectious and warming. Deeper is as equally primed for a summer terrace as it is for the dance floor.

While “Saturday” may be a B-side it offers a more potent main room punch. Filled with bubbly vocal licks and strong hook lines not forgetting the floor stomping bass. So if your after a solid disco cut or a main room floor filler, Runge has provided the goodies for your bag.

Following support from MK, The Magician, Tensnake and Skream on his debut Anjunadeep release, Lancelot returns with another exciting collaborative EP, this time with Australian soul sensation Ngaiire.

Premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Skream, "Ain't Nothin' Goin' on But the Rent" picks up where "Givin' It Up" left off, fusing contemporary deep sounds with retro vocal vibes. Ngaiire covers Gwen Guthrie's 80's classic in style over jam-band style instrumentals, featuring live guitar, keys and synth.

The sound of the Anjunadeep Miami party, B-side "Truth" ventures deeper, with Ngaiire again harnessing a throwback vocal over a warm, enfolding bass groove.

First up on remix duties is Meramek, who follows up his exciting debut Anjunadeep EP with a seriously bass heavy cut, perfectly primed to do some damage on the dance floor.

Lancelot himself turns in an ace piano dub reworking of the A-side, fuelled by ravey low end and infectious piano stabs beneath the chopped up vocal.

Fellow Aussies Playmode, fresh from remixing Ninetoes and collaborating with Jesse Rose put a wonky dancefloor spin on the original, working a bouncing tech-house groove around the stripped back vocal.

Watergate have revealed details for a tenth anniversary box set, Watergate X.

The centerpiece of the package will be a slew of unmixed exclusive tracks on both vinyl and CD. There are 27 in all, from artists like dOP, Jesse Rose, Soul Clap & Baby Prince (AKA Gadi Mizrahi), Benoit & Sergio, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts and Mike Shannon, plus a grip of Watergate's closest artists: Sebo K, Ruede Hagelstein, Tiefschwarz, M.A.N.D.Y., Lee Jones et al. All of these will be available on two CDs, with 12 of them also on three pieces of vinyl. On top of that, there will be a Watergate movie on DVD, a photo book "and some more goodies." Details on the box set arrive just as the Berlin club gets ready to celebrate its tenth anniversary with four back-to-back parties.

Since he left his role as a respected indie producer and drummer, and threw himself into the alluring dark paths of the electronic club scene, things have only moved in an upward direction for HOLTOUG.

With several podcasts on the infamous Danish national radio show, UNGA BUNGA, live performances at the three best and biggest electronic festivals in his native Denmark; DISTORTION, STRØM and TRAILERPARK, the Copenhagen based producer and DJ no longer needs any introduction in his homeland.

Outside Denmark however, what little people know of HOLTOUG comes mainly from a string of successful bootlegs and most have still to experience the musical depth he put into his own productions as well as his live- and DJ sets.

With „Everybody“ as his first release on Connaisseur, HOLTOUG delivers a melodic and poppish Deep-House track both as an original and a dub version, featuring the haunting vocals by Danish singer Silas.

The release is rounded-up by the piano-driven deep-house cut „Ballad House“, which features clever tempo-changes and a driving atmosphere, as well as a touching laidback remix of „Everybody“ by Danish DJ and producer Rosa Lux as a vinyl exclusive.
Connaisseur is more than happy to welcome this promising artist to its roster.
