Killing cans by the moon, making out on the couch.  There’s snow on the mountain, and it tastes like jet fuel.

Redacted in black, you can hear the veins on vines. Crime in the distance and the wind begins to whine with the booms of buried nukes and the breath of every pine. 

Every structure is temporary. This house is a sanctuary, protected by prayer, pentagram and guns from Afghanistan. 

  Punch me with pixels, deck me with drones. 
Prepare the potion: an ocean floating bones. 
Bombs in Aleppo, safe in my home. 
National hospice, eardrums explode. 

  Baby relax, it’s just a love affair. 
Baby be cool, it’s just another dirty trick. 
Let’s go for a swim, let’s scheme by the moon.    

Broke down in Navajo nation. There’s a payphone in the diner. A trail of tears and bacon grease. Faded yearbooks from back east. An invitation to the feast of a solitary beast, so call a priest and at least bless every wrinkle every crease of this trail of tears and bacon grease.
