At the beginning of the year I visited Lena and Mike in their apartment in Kreuzberg. A Berlin winter day. Cold, unpleasantly grey.
And to be honest, all in all, I wasn't in the best shape at that time. Visits were very selective and rare. But I felt well surrounded by my friends.

There was tea, homemade waffles  and we talked about anything. A great moment. A familiar moment. A safe moment.

And for sure - later on, At some point in the evening we talked about music.
We were quickly moving on to imaginative levels and, best of all, we were imagining ourselves in a souk in Beirut. 
One of the fundamental ideas in this track. 

This song envelops all other tracks - just like a cocoon. You know?
And that's what it's all about. 
It is about the space you need to let go and feel comfortable.

I finished this song two years ago, thinking I would either release it on my own or turn it into an EP. Neither of those happened, so the song remained an Ableton project, just waiting until a month ago. I always knew I would come back to it; it was always in my head, as if calling me to release it, to share it with the world. So here it is, I call it SONSUZ.

It’s an emotional track, accompanied by dialogue from Sinan Çetin’s 1999 Turkish drama/comedy film "Propaganda". The snippets you’ll hear are between two lovers caught in a conflict between their families. I first heard this dialogue used in music on Sagopa Kajmer’s 2002 track "Son Durak Uçurum" from his self-titled album. That's where the inspiration comes from. 

SONSUZ is dedicated to my family, whom I live far away from. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

@erhanyilmazedits takes «Gallo» into more profound, meditative territory,
transforming it into an entrancing 4/4 electronic journey. Hypnotic rhythms and
immersive textures pull you in, creating a groove that subtly takes over, making
your head nod in sync with its pulsating energy.

@jonasfasching brings his signature pumping electronic drive to the «Gallo»
remix, shaping a bold reinterpretation inspired by the original piano sample. He
builds a captivating atmosphere through an eﬀective chord progression, later
expanding it with an expressive jam session on the «Novation Peak», adding layers
of evolving synth textures.

@turuanasi delivers a joyful, dance-driven rework of «Lunar,» infusing it with a
soulful touch. A beautifully expressive trumpet solo intertwines with warm
«Rhodes» electric piano chords, crafting an uplifting groove that invites movement
and emotion in equal measure.

@amu_amu completely reshapes the «Kima» track with a deep, atmospheric
sound design. Layering recordings of external synths and intricate FX, he creates a
slow-burning, hypnotic downtempo trip. The track flows like an endless train
through dark and mysterious soundscapes, with the «Arturia PolyBrute» and
«Novation Andromeda» lends organic instability to the textures, resulting in an
experimental, otherworldly ambiance.

Hell Yeah is back to extract another sublime single from Michele Mininni's Pop Archetypes album, with 'Vertigo' up next alongside a remix from label favourite and downtempo king Calm.

Italian leftfield wizard Mininni has released on the likes of R&S, Optimo Trax and Internasjonal, but on his debut album, he mixed up a new palette of broken beats, worldly rhythms, jazz, and live drums into a diverse and multicultural trip.

At the heart of it is the gorgeous 'Vertigo', a heavenly interlude of shimmering wordless vocals, yearning melodies and widescreen design with gentle synth notes bringing the movement. Calm is a label favourite who has remixed and released albums and EPs here many times before. He elevates the track by layering in a languid dub rhythm and synths that swirl around the groove while the choral vocals bring blissful feels.

Skydrips - That blurry line between ocean and sky.
 
Growing up on the german coast, he always remembers the dip of the horizon while looking at the ocean. Skydrips captures adventures in nature which are the base for each of his tracks. Analogue synthesizers and digital effects are built on top until his signature trance sound comes alive.

Inspired by the free techno festivals in Mecklenburg where he observed how people got lost in the music led Skydrips to create music himself. Now he also wants to curate moments in which the audience might forget about the world.

Skydrips is an eternal dreamer living between the city of Berlin and its close-by nature. He can be found in his studio for days but also out in the plain nature doing nothing for the same amount of time.

These days everything is focused on creating music and performing it live.  Combining edits of his own tracks with spontaneous moments that can only be heard once. Meanwhile uncountable pieces of gear passes Skydrips hands, so there is constant change and alteration in his music that can be heard throughout the releases. 
 
The duality of this scenario resonates in each of his lovingly crafted dance tracks. You will always find a robotic groove paired with a light hearted trance theme contrasting as much as possible with each other.
The challenges of this twist might be heard in Skydrips tracks. That is why he believes in the energy that is being transmitted with his Music.
