Sky Eater's upcoming second EP release “Pyrocumulus” is, as the name suggests, a totally on-fire Sky Eater offering that embodies the trailblazing nature of this act as they take things up a notch in their songwriting, energy and production.

The heart of the release features three tracks that were recorded with a six piece band of world-class musicians, along with two bonus tracks - their brand new jungle dub tune and film clip “The Seed”, and an extra bonus remix of “Human” from their last EP release thanks to renowned Melbourne producer Stay Nice. It also features the multi-award nominated crowd-favourite track “Dear Pilbara (What Are You Fighting For?)”.

Fresh from Island Vibe Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues, Peregian Originals, Buskers By The Creek, Nimbin Roots and a long line of shows in QLD, NSW and VIC, Sky Eater will be celebrating this EP release with shows at Queenscliff Music Festival (VIC), Airlie Beach Summer Solstice, Woodford Folk Festival (QLD) and a long list of dates to come for January to April in five states across Australia.

Sky Eater is the daring 'mermaid trip-hop dub' story of two multi-instrumental warriors: sax-wielding Chelsea Skyeater, armed with dubbed-out honey vocals, powerfully vulnerable lyrics and lush keys - and dub soldier TK Bassdread with his artillery of beastly bass, beats and vocals, and of course more live dubs.
Often vocally described as a “modern day Sade” and compared to Morcheeba, Sky Eater take their audiences on a “mesmerising and elegant” (Nkechi - Roots n All) journey that is full of soul and jazz moments. They released their debut EP in January 2019 and backed it up with numerous festival appearances and extensive touring throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Aotearoa New Zealand’s South Island. They are due to release their next single and have a full length album currently in the works. This powerhouse duo is a definite up and coming act that is not to be missed!
