This song is about a lot of things mashed into one expression of how it feels when someone, for better or for worse, on purpose or by accident, catches a glimpse of my inner self.

Fun fact: The other day I found some old lyrics and chords, definitely a few years old. I used the chords and wrote a new melody (which may or may not incorporate some of the old, I don't remember). This is a rough live recording using my computer's built-in mic in my living room.

I've been meaning to cover this lovely little song (originally by Aqualung) for forever. It has seen me through many years and is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Here it is, a quick, spur of the moment, living-room-recording affair that turned out surprisingly well. I figured that it has been a long while since I've shared a track, so, tah dah!

It's impossible to pick just one Beatles tune, but if I had to choose, this song would be my favorite. 

Haunting, EPIC, and no cover will ever come close --- yet, I love so many covers of this song that I had to cover it myself. I will always love singing it.

Keys played by me but on a separate track this time, both recorded with a nifty little m-audio USB mic my brother gave me (so I'm finally not recording into laptop speakers, though I'm still belting it out in the living room). Thanks bro!
