This is a poem by my favorite poet, Frank O'Hara. I used a recording of him reading his poetry taken in the 60s, just shortly before he died in a car accident at age 40. He was a contemporary to Allen Ginsberg, and was part of the American Poetry scene of the 50s and 60s.

Ode to O'Hara // Present

Always been inspired by DJ Shadow. My favorite song of his "Mutual Slump" on the Endtroducing album samples Bjork's song "Possibly Maybe", this is a nod to Shadow and Bjork, thanks for being huge inspirations in my musical adventures.
All sounds except the Bjork sample are original recordings and Native Instruments' Maschine production.
