Welcome to the brand new Skylab Space Station Podcast.

We will be doing these shows approx. once per month and they will feature guest mixes from DJ's and producers on Skylab Records as well as many other great labels from around the world. 

Our first guest is my record label partner in crime and good friend, The Beat Attic. 

The Beat Attic has released on a few labels already including Truespin Records and Skylab Records.  He has a new EP on the way called "Groovy Hustle" which will drop soon on Skylab Records so keep your eyes and ears open!  he has a funky, groovy sound with amazingly clean & precise production skills.  

On this episode he lays down a funky, techy little house mix for all of our enjoyment.

The Skylab Space Station Podcast #005 with MN8R

On tonight’s podcast we are pleased to welcome an extremely dedicated DJ from the cold streets of Winnipeg,  Mr. Nathan Zahn. 

Not only has Nathan been DJ’ing pretty much non-stop for 18 years, he’s also been actively involved in promoting events and pushing house & techno across the Canada, starting with his, Symptom Technologies night in Winnipeg. 

He’s the founder and Festival director for the Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition, or MEME, and they just celebrated their 5 year anniversary this past summer so a huge congratulations to everyone involved in that.  

Meme, is an urban electronic music festival in Winnipeg, SK, and has been host to some pretty big names including:

Greetings earthlings, aliens, and fellow cosmonauts.  I’m Danger Bay and welcome to the Skylab Records.. Space Station Podcast. 

On this edition we bring in one of the first artists we signed to the label earlier in 2014, Three Arm People.     

Algirdas is a Lithuanian native from Kaunas city and he’s been making electronic music for the better part of a decade.  His sound can only be described as grooving, deep, tribal and completely alien.

Three Arm has a few releases out on Skylab Records already including 2 EP’s, a single and a remix of the Dislexik track, Juggernaut.   All of it has that signature grooving techno sound he does so damn well.   


With 2 more releases in the pipe, Algirdas shows no signs of stopping anytime soon, and we are pleased to present an exclusive mix from the man himself right now.

As far as upcoming music coming out of our world we have releases on the way from Mehta, Pete Wilde, and two newcomers, Galaktik Shell, out of Amsterdam and a Psy-Infused techno track from Florida’s Jack Mclaren.

The Skylab Space Station Podcast #008 with KULEY

Greetings everyone, this is Danger Bay and welcome to the Skylab Records Space Station Podcast!

Today on the show we have producer, DJ and fellow label boss Jay de Roode, also known as, Warzero, of Broken Monster Records out of Calgary, AB. 

Broken Monster Records was founded about a year and a half ago and they are already creating quite the name for themselves by supporting amazing local talent such as up and coming House producer Matt Caine, Michelle C, Paradigm Theorem and Freelikz from the Rum and Bass show.   

Jay has been passionate about DJ culture, music and multimedia since the late 90’s.  Jay continues to spread his love of music and art even today with Broken monster Records and the newly found Broken Monster Studios which will be releasing their first video by Freelikz in the next month or so. 

Keep a look out for this label, make sure you check out all the links and prepare for releases from pete Wilde and Donald Bump in the near future.
