With the release of their self-titled debut album, Berlin-based Australian duo a.s.o. – made up of DJ and producer Tornado Wallace (AKA Lewie Day) and singer-songwriter Alias Error (AKA Alia Seror-O’Neill) – fleshed out their nostalgic, dreamy and trip-hop-skewing sound across 11 emotive tracks described as “torch songs for club freaks”.

Across their Sunday Mix, the pair untangle their knot of influences for an hour-long mix that features a selection of music they’d choose to listen to while “trapped inside on a rainy Berlin Sunday”.

Gerhard is a DJ, record collector and electronic music fan from Mexico. He is also the creator of the blog Esencia, which is responsible for the sound diffusion of different musical genres, from the origins of dance and ambient music to the most recent sounds in the industry.

About the mix-

I selected music that really makes me feel what electronic music is. An intimate mix of ambient music with influences of techno and trance from the golden age of the 90s, as well as music of our present day. I hope you enjoy it, I made it with a lot of love.

To comprehend such a thing nowadays it’s crucial to have a soundtrack, and this episode of FHUO from the Daisy Records crew is the perfect accompaniment to refill the oxygen tanks. Frankifettucini & Obelix have created something truly special in this two-hour time frame, a magical trip through the sky, hopping from cloud to cloud, chasing a never-ending sunset.
