Here’s part 2 of JBAG's new single 'Through Blue' featuring the singer of Polish electronic band Kamp!

Following in the footsteps of last summer’s mighty ‘Mogadisco’, 'Through Blue’ unfolds another sad yet happy melody albeit locked into a slick, pulsing groove. Topped by the boyish vocals of Tomek Szpaderski - he who with his two Kamp! accomplices is soon putting Poland on the map with a personal and inspired blend of indie-dance – 'Through Blue’ takes a meaningful turn bringing extra depth to an already endearing, emotive backing track led by nostalgic steel drums and pianos.

As well as JBAG's useful instrumental mix, this second 4 track EP includes reworks from Continental label mates Mjolnir (Indonesia) taking a phat darker, deeper route (did you say big room?), Saint Pauli (Germany) opting for hands-in-the-air bliss (and the euphoria to match) whilst James Curd (Australia), fresh from signing to Exploited, has let his imagination run wild and provided extra vocals for a slightly more introspective skippy number.

This 17th records release on JBAG’s own imprint Continental, adds yet another nuance to the label’s palette of dj-friendly underground pop music.

Bringing a new dimension to deejaying, the London-based Franco-Italian duo comprising of Jerry Bouthier (dj/sound-designer, longtime Kitsuné collaborator) and Andrea Gorgerino (the pair's studio/musician virtuoso) is now performing live dj sets as a unit with Andrea playing live keytar over JBAG's own productions and other faves mixed by Jerry. Influenced by the house music scene since ’92, including artists such as Adamski, N-Joi, Future Sound Of London, Hardfloor and the explosive dance music melange of the early 90’s that included acid house, house, techno, hardhouse and hardcore. Mr. Tea (aka Michael Devin to the IRS) has a long and storied production history, with releases on labels like Higher State Records, Hard Hands & Concrete and collaborations with folks like Paul Bleasdale (Cream) and Sabres of Paradise (Andrew Weatherall). Tea’s latest activity includes deep house and techno releases for the Crossfrontier and Soundspace labels in 2016 and a three-track EP on well-known Berlin nightclub imprint Bar25.

Skylab® are fronted by one DJ on stage wearing a specially designed astromask with built-in optical technology for seeing sounds (wave frequencies).
Just as we continue to discover new elements, the number of recognized human senses has long been known to exceed the five standards we learn as children.
 
The astromask symbolises entering unexplored space, while expressing reexamination and original interpretation of the conventional.
