The supernatural West Coast of Canada is well represented on this beautiful slice of vibey house music by Skyla J and Oz. Gorgeous flutes and vocals shine on the classic sounding title track Reach For You. 

People that make it it difficult to Love them on some level truly believe they are unloveable and will keep behaving in ways to get the response they think they deserve. This is a heart breaking cycle for the person on the other side of this equation, the person who sees beauty and potential underneath the anger and keeps loving no matter the obstacles.

Skyla J and Oz are a Husband and Wife team . By all accounts, they would be considered veterans in the world-wide electronic music community. Since the creation of their original project Greenlaw in 2003  they have been around the globe, performing at hundreds events in the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA.

 "Skyla J and Oz"  is the couple’s newest project. Where they explore the sounds that inspire them most;  house, soul, reggae, trip hop, and funk.

Skyla J and Oz recorded their upcoming album “ Stay Lifted “ ( Summer 2017) over the last two years while touring and performing.
Recording on the road isn't easy They used bathrooms, conference rooms, libraries, small cabins and even airplane lobbies. In rooms late at night when inspiration took over so fast there was no time to soundproof, 4 am curled up in a desk chair with headphones on and lips pressed close to the mic so they wouldn’t wake anyone up. 
This is their life creating on the move and perfection is not part of the process, vibe is ! being in the moment and using what they had to make it work. So you are going to hear strange nuances maybe even the odd pop and crackle, if the essence was there they kept it mistakes and all.  This is 100 percent Skyla J and Oz : Raw and Real Urban Roots - Soulful, Reggae influenced songs with phat bass and beats.
The type of music you can put on while driving and your troubles just melt away.  The kind that stays on gentle repeat in the back of your mind.
