Song written about addiction. I actually wrote these lyrics while in a detox facility while on the medication used to detox from alcohol, how I managed to still be able to write (though it wasn’t very legible) and rhyme I’m not sure but this is a special one to me as written in the midst of detox the day after a seizure and on a lot of medication. Written to hopefully show others they aren’t alone, that you can reach out for help and that demon doesn’t have to live inside us anymore. If you’re struggling, reach out and make the call. ❤️
