About a year ago I went on a deep dive into some of Nujabes' more obscure songs and stumbled across this song called "The Calling". It only contained one verse by Pase Rock and I couldn't find anything else about where this song came from. What's even more weird is that the instrumentals are from the Samurai Champloo album "Impression" even though the song never appears in the show.

Because of this, I was curious how it would sound if it was extended or at least having Pase Rock rap over it. I messed around with some vocal tracks of other songs by Pase Rock at first, but never felt like the first verse sounded right. Eventually I realized it would be best to use the original instead and combine it with what I had before. This is the first time I've put together anything in a DAW so hopefully you enjoy it.

The live edit of Fresh Static Snow by Porter Robinson ripped from a recording of a show he did at the Toyota Music Factory in Dallas, TX on 10/5/2024 for the Smile! :D World Tour. This one had the best quality I could find so far. The only edit I made was adding a crossfade to the original song's last chord to give it a cleaner ending. I will remove this song if there's ever a live album released (pls porter).

It's been 6 months and I noticed this song still wasn't uploaded to any other major streaming platforms. Audio is ripped directly from the video linked above; the only edit was a fade out at the end to remove the ending jingle. The highest quality I could get was 155kbps since YouTube doesn't do anything greater than 160kbps.

As always, I will remove the song if it ever gets an official release outside of YT.

Favourite - triple j Like A Version

I finally got a MIDI adapter and was playing around with it using my keyboard, so I used it to record me playing a song through FL Studios.  It took a while to play it somewhat perfect, but I tried.
