"Grace" an original composition and recording. This is a very emotional song for me. It brings me back to the time in the hospital when my first Granddaughter, Grace, was born. I played this with my Crafter TM-035/N. Created in the month of August, 2011.

I recently composed a song entitled "Grace" which is named after my Granddaughter. It is a flowing graceful tune with a rich melody line. However requests came in to compose a song for my other Granddaughter "Camille." Camille's personality is very somewhat unpredictable, so I composed this song rich in dynamics of volume and intensity. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do playing it. 

Sound Chain: Acoustic guitar - Crafter TM-035 with JJB Prestige 330 pickup installed; Used two SM57 mics. 1-in front of Acoustasonic SFX; the other in front of the sound hole of guitar; Into a Fostex FD-4 Digital Multitracker; mixed into Garageband, then Mp3'd into iTunes.

Drunken Sailor

The was an ongoing project. I had certain musical phrases I was playing around with and then it all came together yesterday. "Expectation" is one of my favorite melodies of all time. I have to give the praise and glory to God for dropping the inspiration into me. Played with my Recording King ROS-647 through JJB-330 3 transducer disc pickup which glues onto the bridgeplate. This is hands down the best sounding pickup for realism I've found. Please comment and let me know what you think of "Expectation." Thanks, Ed

The Strange Case of...

"BLINDFOLDED" is a song I've been working on for several years, but lately had interest in developing it. The most difficult task is creating bridge in the song which creates tension without being totally different from the rest of the song. The bridge stretches that envelope. The song reminds me of an person blindfolded being spun around and then groping along to find his destination. I recorded this using my Recording King 12 Fret ROS-647 into two SM57 mics, one in front of my Acoustasonic SFX amp, and one in front of the guitar - panned L-R respectively. This I recorded into my Fostex FD4, then mixed into Garage Band, then converted to iTunes. Please have a listen, and I'd really like your impressions of the song. Need feedback on this song.
