Great lyric and vocal...ain't it the truth!

Very nice song. Strong in it's performance with very good vocals.  Compliments!!!

Do you sometimes get a feeling that people your age in the public eye, as well as family and people you know, are succumbing to the Grim Reaper with increasing frequency?  And you wonder how long you can continue dodging the bullets?  It was that feeling that gave rise to the lyrics for this song, which I then put into a blues-type setting.

Every day I lose someone who was part of my life.
And my heart is gripped by a hand made of ice.

My appointment with my maker is coming into sight.
It’s funny and hopeless how we all put up a fight.
