Lion ft MC Mana

A new sound, a new vibration in progressive roots music.

Skylounja are an exciting new band creating a buzz on the Sydney scene. Featuring guest vocalist MC Mana from Salmonella Dub, Rhombus, and Shapeshifter, the group performs a unique blend of styles including reggae, hip hop, soul and drum n bass. Skylounja have already shared the stage with the likes of Kooii  and The Strides and draw influences from a wide range of artists including Groundation, Fat Freddy's Drop, Outkast, King Tide, The Roots and Ozomatli. 

Skylounja's first demo recording of the song Lion was produced by DJ Jonah who has worked with the likes of West Labz Sound, Lotek, Alphamama, Radical Son, Kween G and the KillaQueenz.
