Within the first year after getting out of prison, I performed a set of a few songs at a house show up in Bellingham, Washington. I hadn’t sung in a group of people and over seven years. Despite this, I felt caught up in the heavenly’s while singing and strumming the guitar. The place felt electric and I felt so alive. This is a recording of that night.￼

A night of lament with a couple buddies from prison, me on the piano- Amos on bass and electric, Saint John on percussion. It was one of those nights where we were in sync and that’s all that mattered, the world be damned.
