LESSON 10:

Entanglement is a physical phenomenon when 2 or more particles interact, their quantum states are linked regardless of their spatial distance. Einstein called this ‘spooky action at a distance’ cuz he thought it was absurd since it implied faster than light communication, which his Theory of Relativity ruled out. An event at one point in the universe can affect another point somewhere else in the universe, even if billions of light years away. These particles don’t have a determined spin until you measure it with your own eyes. And the crazy part is that, if we measure a particle & it spins up, then we automatically know that the entangled particle is spin down. They have no hidden info. That’s just how entanglement works… spooky? 
So, coming back to earth, I used this as a metaphor to describe how my other side, my ‘dark’ side—my lazy, careless, depressed, unhealthy, addictive, & negative side—is always entangled with me event though I try so hard to hide and escape from it.

LESSON 11:

Wormholes….a fascinating topic. Wormholes connect 2 very veryyy distant points in the universe together with a short bridge that u could cross instantaneously. This would make u able to travel faster than the speed of light. If you’ve seen the movie “Interstellar” (my fave movie), they capture this concept well. 
So technically wormholes are possible based on general relativity, but do they exist…. probably not.
Another crazyyy thing is that a black hole may be a portal to another universe. Einstein said that if u went in a black hole, u would pop out the other end (a white hole), which could be a parallel universe that is exactly like ours, but mirrored upside down where time runs backwards…. ikr.
Obviously this is a far-fetched theory, so what we need is a traversable wormhole. If the String Theory is correct, then our early universe has already made many traversable wormholes. Some physicists believe that the supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies could be a wormhole. The thing is we can’t ever test this because it’s impossible to travel there in the first place.  

I’m sorry I didn’t make this song relatable to life as I usually do like in my last track “Quantum Entanglement”. The lyrics in this track are just straight facts LOL. But I hope you find this topic interesting & enjoy the music. 
I honestly write music to share with u guys how insane our universe is, so if I could spark a little interest in u, then that’s all I can ask for 🥰

LESSON 15:

I found this theory very interesting because it’s proven by math that we live in a chaotic universe that is kinda completely unpredictable.
Chaos Theory is a study in math that looks at how small changes to a system can result in unpredictable behavior.

I’m sure you all are very familiar with the Butterfly Effect. So, mathematician Edward Lorenz, while studying Earth’s weather, found that one tiny rounding error would lead to the completely different behavior of the weather. He formulated equations which are now the base of Chaos Theory. 
“Does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas?” … Yes.

I like that it proves how sensitive, unpredictable, and messy life is, yet beautiful. And that is the message I am presenting in this track. 
You can’t expect your life to be perfect all the time, and what will you do if everything goes south tomorrow? 
“One butterfly can turn you upside down, so turn up your frown”… stay positive; it’s a choice.

If you’re an anime fan, this one is for you.
If you’re a space fan, this one is also for you.
Our Jujutsu Kaisen GOAT, Satoru Gojo, is the inspiration for this track in presenting the subject in Cosmology that intrigues me: infinity.

A paradox arises when you look closer into infinity: If our universe has an edge, there should be something outside that edge. But the universe is all there is, so how could there be anything outside?

WHAT IF THE UNIVERSE IS FINITE:
The Pac-Man effect:
You can have a universe with no border, but that could still be finite.
It is both infinite but there’s a cosmic finite wall such as:
1. Hyper sphere 
Gravity can bend the whole universe in a way where it bends back on itself. Since we can’t see the curve, the hyper sphere would be about trillion times bigger than our observable universe 
2. Hyper donut (I’m not even kidding)

WHAT IF THE UNIVERSE IS INFINITE:
Expanding Universe Theory:
The cosmological model supports this in that the universe will expand forever at an increasing rate.
String Theory:
Because there are many dimensions, our infinite universe may one day collide with another infinite universe in other dimension and that explains how the Big Bang happens

In the song, I used the paradox of infinity to describe my contradicting feelings of evanescence.
I’m so bad at saying good-byes, and I’m scared to fall in love because one day it will come to an end. Everything dies and nothing lasts forever makes me sad, but it also means that all bad times can come to an end too. All pain can come to an end. Life being ephemeral is what makes us have a purpose, love each other, and cherish our lives and each other.

LESSON 19: Vacuum Space

Kuukyo (空虚) — meaning emptiness in Japanese — dives into the loneliness that can feel like drifting in the vacuum of space. When heartbreak strikes again and again, the emptiness in your chest can feel unbearable. But even outer space isn’t truly vacuum; it holds scattered atoms and fleeting “virtual particles” — proof that there is always something, even in the void.

Same for us. Even in moments when you feel utterly hollow, you are not — because you still have the most essential thing: yourself — and that is everything. Emptiness isn’t just absence; it’s potential, a space where something new can be born. But when we don’t fill that space with self-love, we leave the door wide open for toxic people to enter. Sadly in desperation, I find myself keeping someone who treats me poorly because I rather have someone than feeling the pain of loneliness. 

When you choose yourself first, the vacuum disappears. Your heart overflows, and in that fullness, you no longer crave what will harm you.

Untethered explores what it feels like to drift away after heartbreak — like an astronaut who’s broken free from their lifeline and is floating alone in space. It’s a terrifying image of total isolation, suspended between freedom and oblivion. 
I wanted to capture that haunting paradox emotionally — when you think distance will bring peace, but find emptiness instead.

When I wrote this song, I was trying to protect myself from pain. But somewhere along the way, I realized I’d built invisible walls around my heart. “Untethered” became a reflection of emotional detachment. It’s about letting go to save yourself, only to discover you’ve drifted too far away to love again.

I've been a huge fan of Gesaffelstein's music for years, so I did this for fun out of love and passion.
The original track + his sick video had a dark message behind it, in which I interpreted it as him mocking the new age rap scene and how everyone is all about fighting for attention via social media these days. Broadly speaking, he probably feels that the world needs a reset and to realize how pathetic people are behaving.
Hence, I was inspired to do something with this track.

Sky Sky's Lesson 1:

When gravity is so strong,
it bends spacetime.
Digs a hole right along,
its nature's crime.
And nothing can escape it,
not even light.
The other side what does sit?
It swallows all sight.
Black holes...

General Relativity tells us that mass warps the fabric of spacetime into a curve, aka gravity. But when objects are so massive, they can can bend spacetime so much that they create a hole in spacetime. Black holes are created when massive stars die. When stars collapse upon itself, they explode into a supernova. Violent events like this and other cosmic objects are sometimes just too massive for the universe to handle that a black hole is created, sucking it away into not even God knows where, or does he?

What is crazy is that we don't know what is at the end of the hole. We just know that black holes exist through Einstein's Theory of General Relativity and detection of gravitational waves, but the theory breaks-down with Quantum Physics. In the center of a black hole is a singularity, where gravity and density become infinite and spacetime curves infinitely. At this one-dimensional point, all equations go to infinite and all the laws of physics that we know stop working!! Anything that goes past its event horizon, its boundary, gets sucked in and 'disappears' forever. Even the fastest particle in the universe, a photon (light), cannot escape it. Einstein's theory basically gets demolished in a black hole. 
His theory remains incomplete.
Black holes still remain a mystery. 

The EP cover is the 1st photo ever captured of a black hole, which was just this year! On the right sides are diagrams of a black hole and its singularity along with the Schwarzschild radius, which measures the boundary of the hole.

Sky Sky's Lesson 2:

Gravitational waves are ‘ripples’ in spacetime that are created by some of the most violent events in the Universe. Gravitational waves were only a prediction made by Einstein in 1916 and were not directly proven until 2015 when LIGO detected distortions in spacetime caused by a collision of two black holes that happened roughly 1.3 billion light years away. This discovery is truly one of humanity’s most proud accomplishments.

This track features the legendary and my favorite English theoretical physicist & cosmologist Stephen Hawking. The sample was taken from his BBC interview about LIGO's discovery of gravitational waves. He says that this discovery is incredibly significant because it provides a completely new channel to observe and study the universe we live in. The observed properties of this black hole binary system were consistent with predictions about black holes (black hole area theorem)that he made in 1970. His famous Bekenstein-Hawking formula describes the entropy of a black hole. It helps us understand black holes by connecting thermodynamical quantities (entropy) to physical properties of the black hole (area). Hawking also developed his own theory with the Hawking radiation that leads to describe the Holographic Principle. 

I wish Stephen Hawking was still around to further interpret our discoveries and to help us get closer to finding the 'Theory of Everything'. He was the Einstein of our modern era, but he will always continue to inspire me. I wish I was smart enough to help contribute to figuring out this bizarre Universe we live in; however, I lack knowledge. But what I can do to help is by sparking interest in Astrophysics and Cosmology through the music I create to the people of our future. I can only hope that all the heart and passion I put into my music will inspire everyone to look up and out into deep space and someday figure this all out for us.

S⁴MA Lesson 3:

By 2045, the Global Future 2045 International Congress hypothesized that humans will attain digital immortality by a process called "mind uploading." Mind uploading is a theoretical procedure of uploading one's biological mental state into a computer. Also called Whole Brain Emulation (WBE), this means that we will be able to back up all of our precious memories, personal traits, beliefs, ideas, idea of the 'self', and etc., into a hard drive and possibly download the brain's information into another entity of some sort, whether it is to another human, robot, or just to store in another computer. This would eliminate the need for our fragile biological body, and enable us to live in a virtual reality/ quantum world technically forever unless deleted or destroyed.
Martine Rothblatt introduced the concept of "mindclones," which are digital versions of humans that can live forever. These mindclones are made from a "mindfile," a kind of online storage place for our personalities. We already store our personalities and personal information in digital platforms like Facebook.  This mindfile would be run on "mindware," a kind of software for consciousness.

Far-fetched as this may seem, technology dealing with the brain is advancing exponentially, as seen with Elon Musk's Neuralink and in the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). According to Moore's law, computing power doubles approximately every two years. Thus 2045 seems like a plausible prediction. 

Now this doesn't appear completely ideal because our biological brain would not be likely to survive the mind transfer, and I can bet you that most of us would rather choose our human form over a simulated form... or at least I would >.< Nevertheless, it is interesting because we don't know how our future will pan out exactly. Moreover, trans-humanistic processes like this can be a way to extend our life and maybe even be our best option to preserve our human species.

S⁴MA Lesson 4:
Incredibly weird yet brilliant/scary/insane ideas pop into my minds from time to time. I had a moment when this happened to me, and I just sat there for a minute, wondering how or where it came from. The more I thought about it, the more bizarre the whole phenomenon seemed to me. Since then, this mystery of how ideas just appear into existence always circles in my head. It sounds like a stupid thing to contemplate, because understanding where ideas come from it isn't something that has any relevance to our lives, but it sure gets me wondering. 
With that being said, here are some hypotheses that I have made:

Hypothesis 1
If we are highly likely to be living in a simulation right now, based on the Simulation Hypothesis by Nick Bostrom, then it is plausible that the entities beyond the simulation give us ideas or program them into our minds. 

Hypothesis 2
If the universe is a conscious entity, then consciousness is shared in the universe as a whole. This means every idea that can ever exist is here all around us, and sometimes we can tap into the ideas out of probability, since we live in a probabilistic universe. 

Hypothesis 3
I'm way overthinking all of this, and it's probably very simple in that it is our subconscious generating these ideas from things that we already know. Most of the things we do subconsciously, we aren't aware of, so this would explain why we get the feeling that our ideas come from nowhere when it actually doesn't. 

A mystery or not, it inspired me to write this song, so it doesn't matter at the end of the day... I guess. 
Its just insane to me how an idea just pops into existence, and if taken into action by the person, can become the next Google, Tesla, or even something like your new favorite ice cream flavor. Ideas are like eggs for inventions. But where do the eggs come from? 
Just food for thought, no pun intended ;]

LESSON 6:

This one is dedicated to all my precious Rick and Morty fans. While we wait patiently for the seasons to continue, I wanted to help the community by making this track to mitigate the time between the show’s infamous long breaks. Consider this, not as my usual S⁴MA Lessons, but to share with everyone how amazing this animated science-fiction sitcom is because the creators Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon, and all the writers are geniuses.

To all my non-watchers, this track was inspired by Cromulons, a species that are planet-sized beings shaped as human heads. They run a reality TV show called “Planet Music,” which is a parody of “American Idol,” where every planet is forced to present their best musical artist. If they don’t make the cut, their entire planet is destroyed. The Cromulons only pick ONE winner, and the prize is that they keep their planet alive. The Cromulons "feed on the talent and showmanship of less-evolved lifeforms". This heinous game show is one of my favorite episodes, so I had to.
Whether you watch the show or not, I hope you find this entertaining regardless !

LESSON 7:

Shortly after pouring hot boiling water into my bowl of oats, I notice that it bubbles here and there.
“…Why here and not there?” I wonder.
Some may believe that there is a reason why it bubbles up here and not there. But it could also just be that bubbles form here and not there because it just does, and there is no reason to it.

We live in a weird probabilistic universe where particles pop in out of existence.
Sure some may say, “everything happens for a reason because everything has a cause.” Yes, but that cause may just be a cause following the laws of nature.
Or you may argue, “everything does have a reason because God/ the Universe has a plan.” And that I cannot argue because I don’t know and neither do you.

“Everything happens for a reason…”
I admit, I like that phrase because it can be a coping mechanism that brings people optimism.
…But I’m not only here for that.
I am here for the truth. I strive to see how the world is actually like on a pure, fundamental level, free from other’s opinions and beliefs. No sugar-coating. Unfiltered. Just seeing the universe for what it truly is. Unbiased and honest.
Notice how I don’t reject any perspectives, because I believe everything is possible until solid evidence is found.

So …ya… oatmeal.

LESSON 8:

You and me, we are made out of dying stars…
When stars reach their end of life, they swell up and collapse, throwing off their outer layers. Stars with enough mass explode in a supernova. The next generation of stars form from it.
The cycle repeats. 
Combine those elements in different ways and you make species of minerals, gas, and other ingredients required for life
and then, eventually… us.

Since 13.8 billion years ago, all the material from stellar explosions have mixed in our bodies…
I know this.
I understand that stardust is sparkling in my veins right now…
yet, why do I still feel insignificant, lonely, and unhappy?
I guess it’s because I am still a pathetic human being.
I never wanted to write love songs.
I’ve intentionally focused my attention on writing music about space and physics, yet, it always pulls me back to face my true feelings.
I found love in space because I couldn’t find it in any body here, but ever since I have, I cannot escape the weight that it brings.
I wrote this song during the peak of Covid’s quarantine because it forced me unveil my heartaches.
Whenever I gaze up at the stars, I always feel at peace, completed, and loved. But after all I am human… so that love hasn’t been enough…
