At age 16 Yung received the biggest blows in his life. Losing his grandmother, who he lived with, died due to cancer, losing his oldest cousin who was murdered several months later, and 3 months after that, his father , who passed away a day before coming to surprise him. After that, he turned to music which helped him cope with these tragedies, kept him focus, and centered.
After receiving his GED, Yung planned on making music his life. Talks with several labels fell through but never stopped him from achieving his goal. Never actually putting out an album, Yung has established many connections from heavy networking through several social networks. Yung’s music ranges from heart-felt storytelling to street and club bangers .Now, Yung at age 23, has several projects with artist from labels such as SODMG, YSG,Brick Squad Monopoly, Interscope, and along with many Chicago artists. Family seems to be his biggest motivation and nothing will stop him from finally taking his place as one of the greats
