Two Note Twist

This is Ra's' theme, played with pure strings as he surveys the "desolation" of the Himilayas, in Batman #232.

Ra's Al Ghul Main Theme

This is my version of music that accompanies R2-D2 and C3PO as they tumble towards Tatooine in the escape pod from the Rebel Blockade Runner in STAR WARS.

The idea behind this was simple. Keep as close to the original orchestration as possible but write something different.

The weird thing is that my cue is shorter than the original cue that John Williams wrote but only by one or two seconds.

I did not take the time on the original cue before writing my version-I just wrote until a felt that I had a reasonable amount of music for the scene in question.

Manic Depression

My good friend Pierre Bidondo graciously offered his fantastic talents on acoustic and electric guitar after I played the first version of this piece (called "Iditarod") for him one frozen , Alaskan night. We got together and, over the course of the afternoon, managed to wrap this up without going "burnout". His playing is what really completes this and I'm just sorry that we don't get to do this more often than not.

This track was transfered from the original VHS Master to a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. The finishing touches were applied in Audacity Audio Editor.
