Oko (known as Oco in Latin America) is an Orisha in Torubaland of Nigeria and Benin Republic. He is a strong hunter as well as a fighter against sorcery. He is associated with the annual new harvest of the white African yam. Among the deities he is considered a close friend of Oosa Ogiyan and Sango as well as at one time husband of Oya and Yemoja. CRISTIAN MONAK, FELIPE GRANDA, MAARLEM and ALVARO VILDOSOLA are paying their respects to Oko with four great original tracks inspired by the Orisha.

ZOROXXE - Nefelomancia 
Nefelomancia es la anti gua práctica de vislumbrar el futuro en las nubes. En “Nefelomancia” Zoroxxe explora las las imágenes que nos entrega el cielo en tex- turas meteorológicas a medida que cambia de humor y presión. Es apofenia a través del sonido; la pareidolia auditiva de los movimientos  de aire. Niebla, de esa que cohabita con los espejismos donde la atmósfera es más delgada. la altura, y sus desvíos. la luna suplanta la iden- tidad del sol, y el día continua de incógnito. Lagunas en ese verdor. donde antes habitaban recuerdos. el calor de un refugio, de una fogata, y ese poder casi amnésico que tiene el vapor de altura, para hacer desaparecer los caminos que nos trajeron acá. 
En este segundo disco, Daniel Lofredo Rota y Joaquin Cornejo combinan paisajes ruidosos avivados por cinta con instrumentaciones emotivas, y golpes físicos de aire alborotado. con bajos profundos y palpitaciones abstractas. 
Nefelomancia será lanzado en el sello ecuatoriano +ambién el 12 de febrero del 2021. 


Zoroxxe is an experimental electronic project made by Ecuadorian Producers Daniel Lofredo Rota and Joaquín Cornejo. Zoroxxe will be releasing their second stu- dio album, “Nefelomancia’ (nephelomancy), in 2020, where they explore nep- tunean themes of vapor, and fog, atmospheric phenomena, mountain refuges, and the mythic characters that inhabit the glacial labyrinths of our consciousness. 
Nephelomancy is the art of divining the future in the clouds. In their second album, Zoroxxe explore meteorological textures left behind by changes in pressure and humor. It is apophenia, through sound, auditory pareidolia of the movements of air. Fog, that fog which you see where the atmosphere is thinner, the home of mirages. Altitude, and its detours; the moon impersonates the sun, and the day continues undercover. Lagoons amongst the green. Where memories used to live. The warmth of a refuge, of a fire; and that amnesia like vapor, and its power to make the tracks that brought us here, disappear.

Zoroxxe - Cauce

In this special edition of Thursday's Jam Session - Vibe & Tribe, the event started with a warm up. I warmed up the souls with this set and my good friend Anca warmed up the bodies with some energizer exercise / work out / get to know / unleash your body and mind games. It was a successful dance invitation because the guys and girls moved their bodies, connected to their bodies and each other and danced like crazy!

I'll quote Anca's post on the event, as it describes perfectly what happened on the dance floor:
"I also want to thank you all for your curiosity, openness and participation 💜 I feel that we all had a beautiful exchange of energies that helped us to create a wonderful space to feel free and safe to express ourselves. In other words, we enjoyed something that we created together, for ourselves. And this thing is great, because it shows that when people gather together, sharing the same values, intentions and good vibes, beautiful things can happen; everything just flows."
