Hello All
We just wanted everyone who has submitted a track to know that Smirks is continuing to work on these. We are both proud and pleased to say that your response was simply amazing, with such brilliant pieces to work on and, because we want the finished product to be the best it can be, putting everything together is taking time.  Smirks also contracted Covid some weeks ago, which has laid him quite low for a time - another reason things have been held up.  But we wanted to assure you that the project is very much ongoing.  

So Smirks decided to put this together to give listeners a taster of what we want the end product to be.  He hasn't included any of your submissions because he didn't want to spoil the element of surprise for everyone involved.
There are many collabs currently being put together - even my brother Tel and myself are working on something - so it's a very complex entity, all things considered.  But rest assured, we are getting there.

North Star meaning also plays a key role in astrology as the term used to refer to an individual's “north node” or destiny, the path of more fulfillment and purpose. It's part of two of the most visible constellations in the sky – The Big and Little Dipper.
This song as a slight slant towards Christmas and to all those people missing from families for one reason or another. 
They have left to find their North Star, some might find what they are looking for and many won’t but it doesn’t stop people searching.
