Halogens latest release brings two seasoned craftsmen, Ilk & Etch together for a collaborative effort on ‘My Soul’. The two combine their production skills for a soulful stepper with intricate drum patterns layered with classic breakbeats, soul samples, and heavy sub bass - taking the listener back to the classic 90’s jungle era with modern day influences.

The B-side features remix duties from Danny Scrilla. Danny is a well seasoned producer with releases on such labels as Cosmic Bridge, Civil Music, Rudimentary Records, and most recent Zam Zam Sounds. Danny brings his integrity to ‘My Soul’ with a heavy 808 halftime intro, seductive piano work, and detailed horn stabs; leading the listener into a melodic dance floor jungle shuffle with a delicate vocal sample weaving in and out of the track sending chills down your spine.

Ali McK & IYZ are back in their highly productive and successful dream team on a new remix for Rukus's forthcoming Binary EP, out 25/01 on Articulate Records. They've reworked 'Flow' into a steppy 160bpm workout, combining junglist percussion and delightful ragga-influenced aspects with Magugu's expertly crafted vocal effort to create a wonderfully diverse and perfectly executed track. To be honest, after their world-beating 2018, this is exactly what we've come to expect from the duo; we can't wait to see what both they and Articulate have got lined up this year.

Leeds favourite ragga production duo comes back to finish the work. Rebuilt For Sound raises the roof and gives Danny T & Tradesman 2017 debut album an industrial revamp as they team up with an international squad of remixers on Glasgow’s Scotch Bonnet Records.
Revisiting vocals by Warrior Queen, Daddy Freddy, the late Sandeeno and Jamaican legends such as Earl 16 and Lutan Fyah, Rebuilt For Sound brings some riveting vibes from the Junglist pair Aries & Kelvin 373, Frenchman Stalawa, Rub A Dub specialists Chief Rockas, Tokyo’s own Bim One, as well as fellow producers Origin One, Jahrkon, Kirifi and Samurai Breaks.
With 8 fresh remixes, Rebuilt For Sound bridges between Old School Jungle and Future Ragga - nailing down the 90s vibe with a twist.
