Really great tune ! Great developement, continuously increasing energy from beginning till end !

Here is my first foray into Dark Ambient music, produced 100% in Nanostudio 2.  It's a little bit intense not gonna lie, lol.

I made use of FAC Alteza, Bleass Granulizer, and Saturn 2.  The low drones are produced by Obsidian.  The higher drone that first comes in is a granulised sample from Sounds of KSHMR Vol 3.  My voice is also granulised a little bit, although the mix is about 50/50 so you can understand the words.  The drums are a Slate kit from the new Studio Drums IAP, smashed in Saturn 2.

The master track has MagicDeathEyeStereo to glue the mix, and TB Barricade to catch some of the louder peaks.  That's all.

(Unfinished - Vers. 30)

11 days ago an idea came to me and I immediately began to work with it in my little home studio, after about 5 1/2 months of absence. 🤩🙌🎹🎶

It's not finished though - still need to work on adding some more backing vocals, effects and trying to figure out how to make this tune more interesting, but... I had to share my idea in case I loose interest like so many times before! 🫣

Still a long way 2 go before I think my track is finished, but I hope I''ll get there, soon! 🤞🙏

My first iOS track using Audio Evolution Mobile, and my first using exclusively external hardware synths (Korg Monologue and Arturia MicroFreak), excepting drums and noise sweeps, handled by Hammerhead and Koala.

Big snowfall created a few days of power outage...Time to pull out the mobile iOS music studio!

Snowy Day

"The Journey", I produced this piece in Nanostudio 2 on my iPad Mini 6.  The main drums are the 909, and the Taikos are from KAPro Epic drums in Module Pro.  In fact, Module Pro is also the source of the string/choir patch and brass.

Beathawk is where I sourced the Asian instruments from.  The EDM bass is Tonebooster's Lowtone, and the sustained bass is Obsidian.  The Trance lead is also Obsidian.

Currently on a break from SoundCloud due to real life getting in the way.  Should be back in 2024.

My main influences range from Electronic Music (Jarre, Vangelis, and Tangerine Dream) to Rock, Pop, and Orchestral (Classical and Soundtracks), but also include an occasional bit of Hip Hop, EDM and Dubstep.   I have not tried to imitate any of these artists.  I am experimenting in various genres to find what I like most about each one and see what I can learn from them to add to my personal style.   'Slam-Cut' is a film term for quick jump cuts without much set up.  This is analogous to the variety of genres and themes you might encounter here on my SC page.   I hope you enjoy listening.
