Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @raykajioka for its twenty-fifth episode of Amplify Series.

Berlin-based, German Techno producer, DJ and Live Act since 1995. @raykajioka is best known for his output on Kanzleramt, Parabel, Müller Records, Cocoon Recordings, most notably for his tracks “Thrill“, “Spark”, Never Ending, “Ten Ten”, "Glömsta Madness”, “Ichi-Ni-San-Shi”. 

Kajioka is key figure on Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt imprint and can also be found remixing Truncate, Joel Mull, Elbee Bad, Heiko Laux, Housemeister, DJ T-1000, and many other leading artists.

A distinguishing and striking aspect of his music is certainly the warm spheric and impulsive sound, which is constantly present in all of his productions. Ray’s live and DJ-performance 
encompasses all the elements of today’s modern Techno and House music, but has its feet firmly planted in the roots of the Detroit-vibe.

Hailing from London, R.M.K is an exciting new project by Fossil Archive label head Roberto. It represents a faster and more intense take on his unique brand of Techno.

He utilises his knowledge and past experiences, which include regularly playing at Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, as well as fabric in London, to develop his individual sound.

During his 20+ year career in music, he has formed friendships and worked in partnership with other respected artists such as Trevino (Marcus Intalex), Jamie Anderson, Robert Owens, Goldie and Nastia.

Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. This is conveyed in a live Show that utilises classic hardware from the golden age of UK Rave.

It's hard to put a fine point on Eduardo's sound. Capable of composing lush languid soundscapes,complex IDM or sci-fi Jazz,De La Cale has been editing and releasing 250 releases in vinyl format and he also has been performing in more than 60 countries during the last 2 decades.
He is the founder of his new brand project Telemaco Xavier Jazz Quintet, and is in charge of mixing ,developing and progresion of the formartion. In this musical group designed for stage and "live" formats, Eduardo is in charge of the sound aesthetics and studio mixes, adding to the quintet a futuristic vision and at the same time an unorthodox vision of jazz and electronica, their first studio album is finished and wil soon be released.

BIO:

Fabrizio Lapiana is a well-known fixture on the contemporary Italian techno scene. His musical career started in his hometown Rome where he began collecting vinyl and DJ’ing in the early 90’s.

After being mainly active on the local scene, Fabrizio in 2008 started producing and founded his own imprint, the well renowned Attic Music. The label quickly expanded from hosting just Fabrizio’s work into also releasing other artists fitting his personal definition of techno. To date Fabrizio has over two handfuls of releases, Attic Music serves as home to some of these, but also other respected labels such as ARTS, Figure Jams and M_Rec Ltd to mention a few. His productions are often dark and hypnotic, yet at times they have brighter melodious elements, with each of these components smoothly entering as the tracks unfold.

However playing records to a live audience is still his favourite element. Fabrizio has honed and perfected his deejaying skills for over two decades, therefore being famous for his immaculate mixing technique. To create the setting he prefers, his sets travel from deeper to harder techno, darker pieces are introduced to more melodic ones and acid or old school gems get updated with new unheard material – these are some of the key ingredients for Fabrizio while creating an intimate journey for the listener.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
