BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL have a very special guest mix in store for 6AM, seamlessly mixing multiple genres into one high-energy hour of music.

The duo are a force of nature squared, combining their taste for raw and rousing music in the fields of acid, techno, house, electro, and more. They channel this alongside influence from their respective Curacaoan and Israeli heritage, crafting tracks and sets that are packed full of potent sounds and able to keep dancefloors enthralled while veering in unexpected directions. Together, they are a couple living in Amsterdam and have emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Their knack for crafting craggy acid and jackin’ techno is only outmatched by the palpable collaborative energy they bring to their DJ sets.

Despite the global disruption of 2020, Black Girl / White Girl continued their incredibly forceful run of form, gained support from across the techno community, and quickly established their strong reputation. They remain busy on the output front in 2021 with new music arriving on Symbolism, Warehouse Music, EI8HT, and Balkan Vinyl, and installments of the monthly OPERATOR mix series dropping to keep fans dancing at home.

On the vibe BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL were trying to achieve with this mix: "This is the set we’d play while the sun was setting right behind a dark and steamy Pride festival tent packed with 100% VAXXED techno, acid house, and breakbeat aficionados. We got laser beams blazing all over the crowd, steam hissing from the ceiling, sweat dripping from the jacking bodies, all of that. Each track amplifies the sensual energy, keeping the vibes fierce throughout the 60 minutes set. We're dropping some of our favorite tracks from the likes of Ariel Zetina, LSDXOXO, Jerome Hill, Betonkust, and Ejeca. More than anything, this mix is about honoring our community. Cravo, is the solo project of Pedro Cravo, member of the tag team -2 [menosdois] and one of the founding members of Hayes Collective.

From deep to tough, his sets and live acts are designed for the dancefloor, oscillating between the various aspects of techno, house and electronic music in general. All crafted in order to take dancers on a journey full of groove and psychedelic loops.
 
Born in Lisbon, graduated in audiovisual arts, he had his first contact with music production, DJing and notion of rhythms and instruments through Dub and Reggae in mid 2007. Also being in love with Blues, Jazz and Afro Music, and in a phase of great inspiration, he created his first musical project, namely PeterSmiling - a heteronym. In this era he was also a part of the collective I’n’High Sound System and starting to compose and produce his first original music.
 
A first interest in producing and playing techno sparked in 2010. Influenced by his schoolmate, Vasco Guerreiro, who introduced him to this - at the time - new world of sounds. Through digging deep in the history of this new world, Cravo acquired more of a vision of becoming an electronic music artist (and also a bit of a raver). The musical influences at that time were ranging from techno in various forms to house - especially the blossoming genre of minimal - further to Psy Trance. All these musical influences have opened new frontiers both on the creative and production side.

With the afforementioned Vasco Guerreiro, Cravo subsequently came together to form -2 [menosdois] in 2011. In the following years the two would get to know their fellow comrades whom they now form Hayes Collective with: Temudo and VIL.

With standout releases on renowned labels such as Mutual Rytm, Life in Patterns, and Projekts, he has firmly established himself on the global music stage. His tracks have earned widespread support from leading artists worldwide, frequently charting and making their way into countless DJ sets. 
This recognition has positioned him as one of Greece's most promising techno exports.

Recently, SERA J. has been channeling his creative energy into a forward- thinking live set, showcasing explosive, futuristic soundscapes.

With over 12 years of experience behind the decks, he has shared stages with some of the world’s most celebrated artists. Today, SERA J. tours internationally, performing at esteemed clubs and festivals such as RSO, Dreaming Festival, Under Club, Fridas Pier, Lofi, and PIP, among others.

Looking ahead, his trajectory remains bright, with several exciting EPs already scheduled for release later this year.

For SERA J., music is more than just sound—it’s a state of mind, a medium for interaction, inspiration, and boundless creation. His unwavering passion drives him ever upward, carving a path as a distinctive and innovative voice in the techno scene.

His prevailing interest for different styles in music is responsible for his unique variety of classic elements and recent influences, whether as a DJ or producer. Currently performing on 3 decks Uncertain marks his DJing for being fast, proper & "telling stories". Travelling around the Globe and DJ-Support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Radio Slave, Truncate, Honey Dijon, Carl Cox, Luke Slater, Paco Osuna, DJ Rush, Will Clarke, Danny Howard, Eats Everything, DJ Bone, Danny Tenaglia, etc.. confirmes his recognition as an artist. After more than 50 Releases/Remixes on Labels like KMS (Label of Techno Originator Kevin Saunderson), Recycled Loops (former Label of UMEK/Valentino Kanzyani), Ingoma (former Label of Ben Sims), Primate,.. in the last two decades it was finally time to move on from Boriqua Tribez to the next chapter called "Uncertain". Founded in 2018 "Uncertain" shows the more frantic side of techno which - since then - gained in Releases on Labels such as Rekids, Beard Man, Truncate, WRKTRX, Illegal Alien, Mind Medizin, just to name but a few.

With a storied history in DJing and producing, starting in Rio de Janeiro as a D’n’B selector before settling into London’s technosphere, the Brazilian producer pens dark and dubby textures. 

Delivering releases on his label, Liberta Records as well as the likes of Figure, Blueprint, Modularz, Mord and Token, Vinicius productions display his penchant for trippy and foreboding techno whilst encapsulating the energy and passion that have come to be synonyms with his style.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
