Cisco was originally meant to play for us in August 2021 but Covid put a stop to that; thankfully we were able to fulfil our goal of having him to play for us and it couldn't have gone any better in our honest opinion.

Over the years they have gained a massive international following both due to the massive success of their countless releases, as well as their uncompromisingly energetic dj sets 🎹🎛️

BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL aka Karin & Ty, are a duo on the rise. In their ten years of experience, they have defined an iconic new sound oscillating between classic 90s techno, jackin' Chicago acid, and hypnotic, ass-shaking machine funk.

The pair has been on a roll recently, releasing a string of highly sought-after cuts on Hardgroove, Symbolism, Super Rhythm Trax, and Balkan Vinyl, while picking up support from techno titans such as Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Truncate, The Advent, Ben Klock, Luke Slater, and Marcel Dettmann.

On the dancefloor, their masterfully crafted mix of techno meets acid, breaks, and rave morphs into the energetic peak-time force that has come to define the BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL sound. Their sets are fast-paced and muscular, transporting us to the golden era of techno while also moving us firmly into the future, showcasing their appreciation for the past while creating something new altogether.

Over the last years, they've made their mark turning out incredible sets for Ben Sims' MACHINE, Watergate, ADE, Blitz, The Block, Dockyard, MARICAS, HE.SHE.THEY, Milkshake, and Motion Bristol. If you've ever seen the duo live, you'll know they have that elusive magic touch. Every time Karin and Ty hit the decks, they bring all the twisted arcs, goosebumps, and mind-melting sensations. Without a doubt, you're in for an unforgettable journey.

BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL are currently making major waves with their 'Fluid Humanism' EP on Ben Sims' Hardgroove imprint, and with further releases on Warehouse Music, Truncate, and Lobster Theremin on the horizon, 2022 is shaping up to be a golden year for the duo.

Hailing from Waterford, Cailín is known for her dedication to the art of djing and vinyl only style. A name applauded in Berlin and recognised as far as the Americas, the 2x Boiler Room selector has rightfully become one of Ireland most respected DJs. A long-time resident at District 8 and Subject, Cailín regularly appears alongside huge names such as Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Ben Klock, Paula Temple, Dax J and I Hate Models, to name just a few. Earning sets at Tresor, Machine Parties stage at Dockyard Festival at ADE and Bossa Nova Civic Club NYC, as well as being a regular at Life Festival, Boxed Off, Circles and Electric Picnic, reflects Cailín's pure ability to work the turntables and act as an ode to what is to come. 

As a producer, Cailín's discography is steadily growing. Her debut 12", 'Phantom Love Affair', 4 tracks of raw, machine fuelled techno, caught the ear of Dave Clarke, who chose her as one of his favourite producers of 2021. Shortly after she contributed to Ben SIm's huge Symbolism VA as a handpicked artist alongside Lady Starlight, Insolate, Jaun Shanchez, Ritzi Lee and The Lady Machine. Since then, she has had a steady stream of releases in the form of remixes, VAs and a further EP with lots more on the schedule before the year is out.

Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire formed Space DJz  in 1995 with their 1st musical outing - On Manoeuvres in uncharted Territories   this was released on the sub label of Creation Records  called Infonet Recordings. The highlight of this EP was the seminal electro track Celestial Funk.

During the course of a 25 year career the DJz have put out over 60 Ep’s , 2  full length Album’s  3 mix Cd’s and over 40 remix’s featuring on labels such as Novamute , Soma , BEK Audio , PercTrax , Kombination Research , Driving Force , Beardman , Phobiq , Sinewave and many many others.

As the first Techno partnership to ever DJ on 4  turntable’s and 2 mixers spawning many a copycat act they have taken their sound across the globe , very few  countries have not witnessed the unique style ,  knowledge and musical attitude that only Ben Long & Jamie Bissmrie can deliver behind the decks and  on the dance floor . Touring Australia and Asia 9 times , South America , USA , Russia , Japan , New Zealand and countless of the big Festivals and Raves across the European circuit.

Berlin-based Stephanie Sykes is one of the most sought-after and distinguished figures to come out of the UK techno scene within the last decade. Sykes has honed a sound that has a hypnotic raw energy, which has led her to some of the most esteemed club booths in world. Regularly holding it down on dance floors such as Berghain and Fabric this year, Steph holds an extreme amount of poise and composure whilst conjuring infectious rhythm and groove. This headstrong approach has had Stephanie tour every corner of the globe for over a decade and still remains one of the most coveted techno selectors on the circuit right now. In both the studio and behind the decks Stephanie strives to bring a gritty modern spin on ambient, techno and experimental electronica, carefully curated and skilfully arranged into one seamless journey.

Risa Taniguchi is arriving at the forefront of the dark techno wave that has washed over the underground in recent years. The Tokyo born - and based - artist has spent the last four years cultivating a lo-fi sound of distorted textures, fizzing synths and a quietly burning energy, which consumes all who hear it. 

Preferring to play sets which are "late night, for the weirdos", Risa has a knack for getting crowds in a nocturnal trance, before delivering shocks and surprises with a curious motif or unpredictable element. For those who like to cut loose in a dark environment, she is the perfect selector.

In the studio as well as the club, Risa focuses on the drums, programming kicks that bring visceral and often aggressive thrills next to a uniquely addictive layer of well designed snares and hi hats. Her signature has become her own subtle and intriguing vocal samples, best heard on Slipped My Mind and This Guy. She adds layers of acid bass and an always raw, edgy aesthetic. Having experienced them first hand whilst living in London, in 2010, Risa also has an enduring love of underground UK bass sounds, which can be heard in many of her tracks. The multi-talented act is also formally trained and a skilled player of the piano, who continues to play daily.

Since her first release back in 2018, Risa has attracted high profile interest from A-list players Amelie Lens, Dense & Pika, Pan Pot, Perc and Daniel Avery; has hit the Top 5 of the Beatport's Leftfield Techno Chart and played everywhere from De Marktkantine in Amsterdam to Watergate in Berlin, and of course all the most revered spaces all across Japan including Contact, Womb, and Vent.

Despite the pandemic, the recent years have proven to be a high watermark for Risa as she has delivered a continuous flow of new music, primarily on Pan Pot’s Second State and on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains. With both of these mighty techno duos giving Risa their support and platforms, it has enabled her to start taking her first major footsteps into Europe, picking up her first headline bookings there.

In 2022, she teams up for the first time together with Black Asteroid, a former engineer for Prince, and the duo will deliver three gritty, hard-hitting techno tracks on Chris Liebing's CLR.

BRYAN BLACK aka BLACK ASTEROID started his music career as a sound designer and keyboard tech for PRINCE at PAISLEY PARK STUDIOS in his hometown of Minneapolis. While working for Prince, black proceeded to create his own music- some of the most innovative techno records released on labels such as MUTE and KOMPAKT. 
 
These records caught the ear of MARTIN GORE from DEPECHE MODE. Soon after, Black was on tour with Depeche Mode with his band MOTOR, and recording songs with Martin Gore at his home studio in Santa Barbara and Berlin. Together Black and Gore wrote a top 40 single “Man Made Machine”. 

In 2011 the debut BLACK ASTEROID single, “Engine 1” introduced Black Asteroid to the world, and introduced an industrial rock sound into techno that quickly took off, propelling Black to play at clubs such as Berghain, Fabric London and major festivals. The focus was in favor of song structures and vocals in a techno template.  

After a string of EPs, the debut album “Thrust” was released in 2017 with many cross over singles, featuring vocals from ZOLA JESUS, COLD CAVE and MICHELE LAMY. 

The fashion designer RICK OWENS picked up on what was happening, and used Black's music for his runway shows in Paris. The two quickly became friends and collaborators.  Currently Black Asteroid is prepping a new album and several EPs, in addition to working in the fashion world, having just released a collection of sunglasses with Valley Eyewear, and music for Raf Simons and Rick Owens.

With a storied history in DJing and producing, starting in Rio de Janeiro as a D’n’B selector before settling into London’s technosphere, the Brazilian producer pens dark and dubby textures.

Recent releases on Mord Records and his own label Liberta Records display his penchant for trippy and foreboding techno whilst encapsulating the energy and passion that have come to be synonyms with his style.

 From Berlin’s Wilde Renate to London’s Fold, playing DJ gigs all around the globe, Vini’s music receives oongoing support from Rødhåd, Ben Sims, DVS1, Kr!z, Truncate, and James Ruskin to name a few.

Global Vibe Radio 339 Feat. Vinicius Honorio (Modularz, Mord, Token)

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @dj-t-1000 for its fifty third episode of Amplify Series.

Detroit-born, Berlin-based Alan D. Oldham has been called "Detroit Techno's Renaissance Man" by Muzik Magazine (UK). Electronic musician, label owner, remixer, graphic illustrator, and international DJ, Oldham-under his stage name DJ T-1000-does it all.
A lifelong cartoonist and graphic designer, a young Oldham published his own indie comic book "Johnny Gambit" in 1987 to local notoriety. Hired that same year by his childhood friend Derrick May to illustrate several memorable pieces for his new Transmat label, this led to Oldham's very first involvement in the fledgling techno scene. More art requests quickly followed, most famously from the Djax-Up-Beats label (NL), where his art took center stage for many years (the lone EP that Oldham produced for Djax, under the name Signal To Noise Ratio, brought home a 1991 Detroit Metro Times Music Award for best single in "Detroit Is Burning"). At the same time, college-student Oldham was hired at local radio station WDET, hosting Detroit's first-ever all-electronic radio program, "Fast Forward," introducing artists like UR, Richie Hawtin and Carl Craig to local airwaves.

Five years later, Oldham found himself under the tutelage of UR's Mad Mike Banks. Initially hired as UR's "Minister of Information," working side-by-side with Rob Hood and others in the office, Oldham was eventually tapped to replace his departing friend Jeff Mills as DJ on UR's world tour (quitting WDET in the process), and DJ T-1000 (and his label Generator, distributed by Submerge) was born. Big shoes to fill, but he was up to the task. For a year afterwards, Oldham toured with Banks in the UR techno boot camp. Since those long-ago days, a solo Oldham continues to rock crowds in Berlin (with an unofficial residency at Tresor), Milan, Barcelona (unofficial residency at Moog), Madrid, London, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and all points in between with his own no-nonsense brand of bangin', funky-ass techno. When DJ T-1000 is on the flyer, fans know he's bringing the ruckus.

In 2004, Oldham finally left a flagging Motor City for the Midwest boomtown of Chicago. And in 2005 he finally established his permanent European base in the world's latest electronic music capital, Berlin.

When he's not behind the decks or in the studio producing electronic dance music for labels like Tresor Berlin, Inzec (CH), Minimalsoul (CH), or his own Pure Sonik and Generator imprints, Oldham has provided artwork for the electronic music industry for almost 20 years. Also, his drawings and large-scale paintings have been on display in art galleries in Chicago, Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles, and most recently a sold-out opening in Amsterdam.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
