Who better than DIAL stalwart Efdemin could wrap up the year on such a distinctly class-act type of note? Probably no one. He who’s become an absolute gem trader over the years through a string of epoch-making efforts, including the time-proof masterpiece that is “Decay” in 2014, drops by to grace us with a mesmeric Xmas tale by way of waving goodbye to 2022. Extruding elements of techno deepness out their usual cast to mingle them with that exploratory, jazz-inflected approach of his - subtly pairing the lingering beauty of stretched-out synths with that of free-flowing 4x4 grooves and haunting melodies, Efdemin entices us on a path of delectably focused and flavourful techno sensibility. An absolute pleasure and honour for us to round off 2022 in such good company.

Italy based as a music producer, DJ, Beatmaker.. iBOT is the alias of Ivo (I.M.) and is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Hypnotic, minimal Modular and Raw Techno Sounds.

Combining the sound of the genre with a mystical methodology, iBOT has released in defining labels like TMM, Affekt Recordings, Soma, Rebels Records, Concepto Hipnotico, [R]3volution, CorpusBlack, Coded Platform, Dolma, FreshCut Techno Label, Kabelkiste, Primitive State, ITU, Eclectic Limited, Subsist Records, Diffuse Reality and more. His label mind is behind Research From Space records[est021’] and runs his own Studio productions in Italy.

Having spent his formative years experiencing the Electronic Music scene from many angles, first steps in Italy (his Hometown Turin), iBOT has played in many clubs, raves and afterparties of Turin and North Italy, traveling Europe through Ibiza, Berlin, London rave scene as clubber, DJ, producer and collaborator, his name is iBOT (Ivano Marsalisi).

Class of 85’, his music receives the support of Techno and House industries’ icons. He has now evolved into a unique producer of his own right, and already has several high quality Techno Electronic tracks lined up on some of the best labels worldwide. Vera Logdanidi's journey in the music industry began as a DJ in Kyiv, Ukraine during the mid-2000s. Since then, she has made significant strides as a producer, with her music finding a home on esteemed labels such as Rhythm Büro, Semantica Records, On Board Music, Dial Records, Corridor Audio and Secuencias Temporales. Her solo and collaborative tracks have received remix treatments from artists including Eric Cloutier, Artefakt, and Svreca. Moreover, her experiments in collaborations have led to joint live performances with Ukrainian producer Na Nich.

Modesty and an introvert personality made this club veteran, devoted to music for a decade, wait a long time for due recognition. A passionate digger, compositional perfectionist, striking with elegant minimalism. He is responsible for the Syndykat (@syndykat71), where he acts as a promoter and one of heads of their association. Michał was getting his edge in the old Das Lokal; blossomed already at the second one at Solidarności plaza. The culmination of Holon project, created together with Porcelain Head, was their performance at Plötzlich Am Meer festival and Humboldthain club in Berlin.

Trying to follow his ideals of Detroit, in his thought-out, coherent sets, he plays with contrast, mixing the light with the heavy, and dirt with melodiousness. Although the omnipresent groove he usually bases on a regular metre, he often breaks the conventional techno with breakbeat. Enthusiast of playing closing sets.

Mary Yuzovskaya's mix for Delayed captures her defining approach to techno: raw, hypnotic, and unhurried. As a vinyl-only DJ with roots in Berlin's techno underground and a significant stretch in New York's scene, she shapes her music with precision, offering an hour-long set that feels both intimate and intense. During her years in NYC, Mary's sound took on new depth, honed through a three-year residency with the Unter collective and work at Brooklyn's Halcyon record shop, where she later launched her label, Monday Off. Dedicated to "psychedelic techno," Monday Off became a home for artists who push beyond the genre's usual limits. Through her label, Mary has amplified a vision of techno that doesn't rely on trends but thrives on nuance and a deliberate, mind-bending drive.

Back in Berlin, Mary's reach grows, with regular gigs at clubs like Berghain and Tresor or Munich's Rote Sonne, NYC's Basement, and releases on respected labels like Semantica, Attic, Kvalia, and her own Monday Off. This mix for Delayed shows how she keeps the music tightly focused yet open to exploration—an hour that reflects her journey, rooted in vinyl and built for techno's true devotees.

A true legend and pioneering figure of techno, US sound architect and Geophone label owner Mike Parker breaks in on the RYC waves with a very special set full with his idiosyncratically dark, obsessive, inch-perfectly chiselled 4x4 wares. Before Boiler Room and co. were even a thing, a pioneering platform going by the name of Studio R° used to broadcast techno sets by prominent artists from a secret location in Berlin. This iconic, vinyl-only mix is Parker’s Studio R° set from 2013, now fully remastered for your listening pleasure. Building atmospheres unlike any other, brooding and transcending in equal measure, Parker has laid the foundation to an exceptionally rich body of work. Master of the industrial vocab, peeping towards Detroit but with his defining spin on the early days genre, Parker entices us down the path of steely monumentality and laser-precise mind control. Just as typically mazy, his present mix conjures up all traits of quality Parker material: 909-powered propulsion, enslaving acid whorls, Escher-like fractals. Wild, wild ride ahead.

Few artists can match the influence that Enrique Mena, AKA Svreca, and his label Semantica have had on contemporary techno. With over 20 years in the DJ booth, 200-plus releases on the label and some acclaimed original productions and remixes, Svreca has spearheaded techno’s second generation, helping maintain Madrid as an international hub for deep and driving sounds. 

As a DJ, Svreca draws from a wide sonic palette that includes noise, dub, avant-garde electronics, electro and, of course, techno. First, it was luminaries like Angel Molina and Oscar Mulero that inspired him; since then he has made it his mission to survey the scene and connect with its most original artists. He funnels these influences into a powerful techno sound for body and mind: immersive, textural and rhythmically complex. Whether in an open-air festival setting or a blistering, pitch-back basement, Svreca’s sets—always delivered with technical precision—are a psychedelic, physical experience. 

His sets are also inextricably linked to Semantica. It’s a two way relationship: the label has become a consistently excellent breeding ground for new talent, as well as home to some of techno’s finest artists. Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
