DJ, producer, Chile

His relationship with music begins at an early age at school playing various instruments, showing great versatility (guitar and piano). His musical influences were marked by his parents and older brothers (mainly rock, metal and electronic).

In 2015 he decides to explore new musical facets, beginning his career as a DJ; In a short time he manages to play in several clubs and matches in his native country, Chile, receiving good reviews for his rudeness.

In 2019 he decides to go deeper and find his own sound, taking music production classes, it is in this context where he finds his sound identity, techno.

2020 marks a milestone in his short career, managing to sign his first track on the Assasin Soldier Recordings label; already in 2021 he begins to sign with major record labels such as Muted Recordings (Portugal), Selected Recordings (Spain), Newrythmics (Spain), Olympian (United States), receiving very good reviews and his music begins to be played by great exponents DJ's and producers from the scene such as: Marcell Dettmann, Adriana Lopez, Slam, DJ Nobu, Border One, Jeroen Search, Vertical Spectrum, A.Morgan, Michael Klein, Marco Faraone, 30drop, Stephanie Sykes, Kaiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Wata Igarashi, Quelza , DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, Jamaica suk, Pfirter, Joseph Capriati, among others.

In mid-2022 he is invited to the release date of the new ATOM TM album, being in charge of closing the evening.

Thinking of Dimi Angelis we rapidly associate his name with pounding sound, high quality releases and an iconic trajectory. Being faithful to his sound, Dimi has evolved over the years to one of the most renowned producers and DJs worldwide. Going back in time to the end of the nineties, Dimi has since then been one of the key figures shaping the Techno scene we appreciate nowadays in The Netherlands. 
His path was marked by releasing on top notch labels such as Axis Records, Warm Up Recordings, Mord, KEY vinyl, Tar Hallow and the co-owned label A&S with Jeroen Search. This led him to play in major techno institutions such as Berghain, Awakenings, Dekmantel and Tresor. Another fruit of Dimi’s creativity is his solo label ANGLS, which provides straightforward and ruthless techno. On February 29.02. his track "Natrix ' comes out on Bassianis brand new label - BASDGTL, in April we await Dimis next EP for his aforementioned label ANGLS and in May his "Incubus" EP will get released as vinyl on Tar Hallow. In April Dimi embarks on his next China tour, followed by North America in June.

Honing his skills in the highly influential scene and sound of Chicago in the early 90s, DJ Hyperactive gained instant international recognition and has since gone on to play the most legendary and lauded events and venues over the last 20 years, such as Orbit/ Leeds, Liquid Room/ Tokyo, Love Parade/ Berlin, Shelter & Smart Bar/ Chicago, Interface/ Los Angeles, Movement/ Detroit, Basement & Output/ Brooklyn, Tresor & Berghain/ Berlin and the list doesn’t stop there.  Also, over the course of his career, he has produced over 100 remixes and original tracks, including classics such as ‘Venus’ & ‘Wide Open’/ Missile, ‘25HRs’/ Droid, “Music Box”/ 4Trk, “Reptilian Tank” & “Chicago”/Contact, Drop Bass, Communique, Hybrid, Truncate, Figure, Plus 8, CLR, Blank Code, Impact Mechanics, Illegal Alien, to name a few.  DJ Hyperactive returned to Chicago 2013 to reconnect with his family and musical roots. Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
