Excited to share with you my very first set of 2024, recorded live at Ratherlost party at LoFi, Amsterdam on January 1st, 2024. 
It was truly one of the best NY shows I've ever been a part of. The club was completely packed and on fire as I took over the decks following Quelza & Nørbak’s incredible B2B set. My aim was to keep this massive momentum going while leading the floor on a journey to get lost in the music. Hope you can feel this mood and energy from the recording.

A surefire provider of deep, complex weapons for the dance floor and beyond, French-born, Berlin-based artist Kangding Ray has been minting some of the most strikingly unique techno records in recent memory. His body of work for some of the most reputed record labels out there, including Raster Noton, Stroboscopic Artefacts and his own outlet, ara, cuts an introspective path, halfway modular-leaning escapology and beat-driven abstraction. From his background in architecture, his musical approach retains that fondness for structure and the creation, or re-creation of space, both as an actual object and a mental projection. Legend has it that AERO was born when the Pan-Pot boys were testing out HADERLUMP Berlin's top-secret jet, they broke the sound barrier so violently that it ripped a melody straight from the sky. The shockwave sent a frequency through the cockpit's radio, perfectly harmonized, as if the heavens themselves were composing a track. Stunned, they crash-landed into a field of synthesizers and recorded the ethereal sound before it vanished. Scientists tried to explain it, but no earthly logic could decode the airborne symphony. The track remains the only known collaboration between man, machine, and the atmosphere itself. As this is the very untrue origin story of HUMAN_001_AERO by Pan-Pot off their brand new HUMAN series under the just revamped Second State label. The date is April 3rd. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ANSWER CODE REQUEST

Patrick Gräser, better known as Answer Code Request, has carved out a distinctive niche in the techno landscape with his hybrid musical style. His innovative approach, characterized by a fusion of pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks, and an industrial tone, has set him apart since his emergence on the esteemed Ostgut Ton label in 2012.
This breakthrough led to a prestigious residency at Berghain, further cementing his influence in the scene. Gräser’s work, including various releases and remixes for notable labels such as Ostgut Ton, MDR, Dolly Deluxe, and Monkeytown Records, has garnered widespread acclaim.
Gräser’s journey from a forest workshop near his hometown to the forefront of techno is marked by his wide-ranging musical tastes. His nights, spent mixing records from Hardwax and Delirium, contributed to the development of his characteristic sound, a blend that includes elements of jungle, drum ‘n’ bass, Detroit, IDM, and UK bass. This unique amalgamation of styles is evident in his early releases on Music Man and his own ACR imprint, showcasing a talent that transcends traditional techno boundaries.

Answer Code Request - Tech Clubbers Podcast #400

Nightcode was born during a blackout in a neon-drenched city, when Pan-Pot, deep in a late-night modular synth session, accidentally intercepted a signal from a defunct satellite looping alien rave transmissions. As the data warped their machines, every dial and fader moved on its own, channeling a hypnotic rhythm no human had ever programmed. The storm outside cracked in sync with the beat, and the studio lights pulsed like they were under the track's spell. Desperate to capture it before it vanished, they recorded the entire session through a toaster, a walkman, and sheer panic. By dawn, the signal was gone-but Nightcode lived, encoded with a frequency not even they fully understood.

@fadimohem is right at the heart of contemporary techno. He brings his own twist on the classic sound - deep, rhythmic and atmospheric. He's a Berghain resident whose first contact with the genre came at the hallowed club, and since then, he has blazed his own trail on the most influential labels in the scene, including his own Mohem imprint. This year, he plays twice at Dekmantel Festival, once as part of WSNWG Live and once on the Radar stage.

Ahead of that, he has put together an exclusive one-hour live set comprised only of unreleased music. It's a masterclass in control that embodies just what you get from Fadi in the club: deep techno planted firmly on the floor but always going somewhere. As dubbed out low ends, glitchy textures and more tripped out melodies come and go, the tension ramps up while both body and mind stay locked.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
