Loose Lips are delighted to present our label’s 24th expedition, E330 EP - a colourful blend of melody, mystery and madness from Merseyside-raised producer, @danellismusic. A rubbery 6-track audial adventure, complementing LL’s lifelong love for all things braindance.

The release includes 5 originals spanning killer breaks, jubilant IDM, gasping ambience, hyperpop-impacted electronica and maundering acid…then accompanied by 1 fierce technoid remix from a LL firm favourite and raucous music maker, @benpest .


Influenced by GTA games, the crazy technical instrumentation and chord patterns of 70s Midwest emo, MNLTH and beautiful Aphex ambience...the release holds its own whether at home cerebrum-spinning, in a virtual world of hedonism, or in the sweatiest nightclubs.

Having built up his production craft in his now Clapton-based home studio, whilst also starting to DJ more via a monthly Threads Radio show, the future looks bright, bewildering and bonkers for Dan Ellis. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Ōtone. "Slice (Go Hiyama Remix)" comes off the new release, Sliced Remixed, forthcoming on YGAM. Originally released as part of Catartsis & Ōtone’s “Mechanical Gesture” split EP in 2020 on Obscuur Records and reissued as a 12” record in 2021, Ōtone’s “Slice” has since been summoned into the sets and ears of a myriad of DJs and dancers. Now, the track gets a much welcome remix treatment resulting in an eclectic gathering of breakbeat, techno, and hyperpop chimaeras through which recordings of cutting engines swirl anew thanks to the craft of Sister Zo, Go Hiyama, Lara David, Yogg, Neve, and Catartsis. Today we premiere the heavy hitting Go Hiyama remix.

"VSK is honoured to start the journey of his new imprint with a selection of great artists. “Equilibrio volume 1” is a presentation of the different visions of techno the label wants to focus on. Modernity, deepness and hypnotism, sound design and complex textures will be the key elements of the label.
The first track is a collaboration between VSK himself and the Polish producer Michal Jablonski. X&Y is a combination of Epic drones, glitchy fx and a metallic fm synth line. Speed and fast modulation are the main ingredients for the development of an obsessive groove.
Malaria by the Spanish artist Kwartz, is an hypnotic dance between extreme ranges of frequency ; white noise and rising screams are wonderfully mixed together with an aggressive broken-subbeat.
The surgical touch of Ansome brings with “Operational Amplifier” a really complex sound design and fierce rhythmic programming, while a distorted roar
beats hauntingly the time.
The last cut, Shori by the italian artist Flaminia, is an obscure and elegant march. Cinematic and ethereal strings come together with an aggressive raw beat , providing an excellent techno experience."

Michal Jablonski's version re-take the voices with an industrial off-beat creating this atypical atmosphere that he has the secret. « Sector Zero » is more acid and bewitching, the evolution of mental synths on apunchy and raw beat.
« Urban Decay » is a groovy beat with hypnotic leads. Mediane remixed this track with a deep and mezmerising techno. Don finishes the Ep with « Jungle balance », a smooth track with hamonic path and brass on a jumping bass that reduce the pressure."

'From our Future Selves' is Berlin-based label ygam’s first non-profit various artists compilation. This 12-tracks gathering was put together to support the organization 'Friends of the Earth' in their aim at challenging the current model of economic and corporate globalization, while promoting solutions that help to create environmentally sustainable and socially just societies. All proceeds from the album will be donated directly to them. In its drive to raise environmental awareness and inspire togetherness, this compilation also shares a sonic facet only slightly explored by the imprint so far: the dance floor's rhythmical occurrences. Indeed, through their various contributions extending from power electronics and heavy bass deconstructions to dense techno cuts, artists propose a wide variety of approaches to club-oriented music and ways for bodies to engage in cadenced investigations.
