Die Electro Swing Elite, kurz ESE, startete im Sommer 2013 den ersten Teil der B2B DJ-Mix-Reihe und kurz darauf folgte auch schon der Elite-Mix Volume 2. Gemixt werden Tracks aus dem Genre Electro Swing, die jeweils von mehreren selektierten und renommierten DJ’s, mit internationalem Format, zu einem gesamten Set fusioniert werden, soweit das Konzept. Die bisherigen Erfolge können sich sehen und hören lassen, so Phos Toni, Organisator, selbst DJ und Vater der ESE-Mixe. Die Soundcloud Plays, Comments und Likes sprechen da eine sehr eindeutige Sprache! Electro Swing ist mittlerweile ein sehr stabiles Genre, mit einer großen nationalen und internationalen Szene. Das Publikum ist breit gefächert, es wird häufig auf authentisches Outfit Wert gelegt und leidenschaftliche Dekos ebnen die unvergesslichen Parties, mit Flair und Atmosphäre. So kehren die rebellischen 20er Jahre, gemischt mit dem heutigen musikalischen Zeitgeist wieder zurück in die Clubs! Für den 3. Teil der ESE Serie haben sich Phos Toni und Wolfgang Lohr zusammen getan und als Grundlage für den DJ-Mix eine Compilation mit ausschließlich exklusiven Tracks, nur für den Sampler produziert, zusammengestellt. Mit Ton liebt Klang (Hamburg) hat sich schnell ein attraktives Label gefunden, welches die Compilation sowohl Digital, als auch auf Vinyl veröffentlichen wird. 18 exklusive Electro Swing Tracks sind das Resultat, von Künstlern die auch in anderen Genres sehr erfolgreich sind. Halle’s dynamic duo, Monkey Safari return to their beloved Hommage imprint after being away from the label for more then a year. With their beautifully crafted “Cranes” release they will surely make up for their long absence in a big way. Even looking at the names of the remixers in charge will leave every music lover very excited.

“Cranes” takes it’s time before introducing the bass drum, a bit more then two minutes to be exact. Monkey Safari get you in the mood with laid back, morphing spheric sounds and teasing percussion. The heavenly, slightly pitched down vocal will trigger a whole array of emotions before the journey even begins. Acoustic sounds combined with sleek piano chords and well placed break downs will make “Cranes” stay in your favorites list for months to come.

Everybody’s darling Kölsch is presenting the first remix. Kölsch is changing up the low frequencies as he adds layers of synthesizer progressions and a heavier bass drum. Sharp percussion and saw tooth sounds are drilling themselves through over ten minutes of musical bliss, but always leave enough space for the vocal to breath. 

Wolf + Lamb are closing out the release with their funk injected version. The lively acoustic drum programming breathes a different life into the track and takes it to a whole nother level. They provide “Cranes” with an overall more uplifting feel.
