«Ритуал», будучи четвёртым релизом «Вежи хмар», является, возможно, первым концептуальным альбомом группы. Прежде всего надо сказать, что творчество «Вежи хмар» концептуально в принципе. Любая песня группы представляет собою отображение действительности через призму языческого мироощущения. Речь идёт не о формальном следовании обрядам предков и уж тем более не о буквальном изложении их вероучений. Понятно, что у древних славян не было синтезаторов, гитар и бас-гитар. Здесь именно ощущение. Ощущение беспомощности перед природой, характерное для язычников. Концепции отдельных альбомов никак не противоречат общей концепции группы, а, наоборот, раскрывают её с той или иной стороны.

«Ритуал» зиждется на взаимоотношениях между птицами, духами и людьми. Птицы делятся на зелёных и чёрных, то есть классификация идёт по внешнему признаку, в то время как духи бывают путешествующие и спящие. Не вполне ясно, кого из них следует опасаться в первую очередь. Но что-то подсказывает, что и от тех, и от других лучше держаться подальше… Людей — аж три категории: влюблённые, утомлённые и мечтательные. Всё как в жизни: одни ходят под руку со своими подругами, вторые утомляются, третьи только мечтают.

«Ритуал» издан фирмой «Bloodhead Production» (номер BP 000) в 1998 году на аудиокассете. На бас-гитаре играла Валентина, на бубне — Елена Лукина, на гитаре и клавишных — Александра. Елена и Александра, помимо игры, ещё и пели. Все семь песен позже оказались в альбоме «Плач», но там они размещены в ином порядке, называются иначе и являются частью иной концепции. Если в «Плаче» в песнях можно уловить смысл, то в «Ритуале» — вряд ли, вследствие чего альбом иногда называют инструментальным. На самом деле проблема в качестве записи. На какое-то время «Ритуал» пропал из поля зрения, но в феврале 2006-го благодаря A. R. оцифрован. На компакт-дисках «Ритуал» официально никогда не выходил.

Cukor Bila Smerť (Ukrainian: Цукор — біла смерть, IPA: [ˈt͡sukɔr ˈbʲiɫɐ smɛrtʲ]; lit. Sugar — White Death) was a Ukrainian rock band formed in Kyiv, Ukraine. The band was active from 1988, until its dissolution in 1993. It was one of the first bands that initiated the creation of the ethno-gothic scene in Ukraine. Considered to be one of the most prominent music bands of Ukrainian underground.
The main figure of this project was Svitlana Nianio. After graduating from music school with a degree in piano, she began composing music. At first, she played with cellist Tamila Mazur. Sugar - White Death was formed when they were joined by guitarist Jevhen Taran and pianist Oleksandr Kochanovskyj.[3] The band significantly differed from the music of that time by high female vocals, non-sensical lyrics, and, previously unknown, instrumental-gothic performance.

The artist talked about the creation of the new album "Myrtus Myth" and the magic of working together with Flaty. We also talked about the eras of her work, poetry, the importance of release covers and other topics.

On March 7, Yana released the album "Myrtus Myth" on the 2MR label, and in 2023, the EP "K-Notes" and the longplay of the joint project with Flaty "Kosogor".
