Yeah, I sat with this, I ain’t rush no stance, I ain’t just talkin’ bold.  
Had to argue with God in the dark, same time holdin’ on hope.  
I’ve thought this through and I’m standin’ on it, even if I stand lone.  
If it’s me and the truth in a empty room, that’s still home.  

I done seen fake love, seen dry eyes at wet graves.  
Seen a “bro” play cool, then switch when the check came.  
Had to learn what’s fear, what’s faith, what’s flesh, what’s game.  
Had to learn when to hold, when to fold, when to walk away.  

Every L gave torque, it was pushin’ my feet, I ain’t see that then.  
All I knew was I’m broke, I’m sick, I’m tired of losin’ friends. 
All I knew was I prayed, it rained, then rained again.  
But the weight on my back made strength I ain’t know I had in my hands.  

Now I move more calm, less talk, more watchin’ they fruit.  
If your words say “love” but your moves say “use,” I mute.  
I ain’t bitter, I’m wise, I forgive, but I don’t forget.  
Once you show me your heart, that’s the version of you I accept.
