Born in Japan and currently residing in Tokyo, SLAY is a talented producer to be on the watch for. 

He started studying and developing his skills as a producer 5 years ago from his bedroom, where he built a small studio set-up.
He spent hours, weeks, and months watching various tutorials as he slowly developed his skills to become a producer. At the same time, he also started learning how to play the piano in order understand real instruments and further strengthen his knowledge about chords and melodies. Being inspired by DJs such as Martin Garrix and Kygo, SLAY got into making various kinds of bootlegs remixes and posted them on his Soundcloud page. His current musical style consists of Trap & Dubstep and Pop & Dance, both in line with beautiful melodies.
When the Global Remix Battle I was announced by Afrojack / LDH Europe in October 2018, SLAY took part with an amazing trap orientated remix of “Let It Rip”. This resulted as the winning remix leading to the release from Afrojack’s label Wall Recordings via Armada Music.

SLAY’s mentality and work drive made a huge impression on Afrojack and the LDH Europe team resulting in an exclusive artist development agreement where Afrojack himself will mentor SLAY to develop him further as a producer and DJ that can make an impact globally.

They are currently going back and forth on various musical ideas in the studio which will evolve in various forthcoming releases and remixes.

Be sure to be on the lookout for this upcoming amazing talent from Japan.
