Mellow Miles - 1 Hr Deep House / House Mix

The title of the track is an acronym for the phrase “everything’s gonna be okay”, but contrary to the optimism of the phrase, the song plays upon the dichotomy of happiness and melancholy, struggling to figure out whether it wants to resolve in a way that’s uplifting or dispiriting. To me it almost feels like an emotionally introspective tune simply disguised as one that’s cheerful, asking the listener, “is everything really gonna be okay?”
