Can you believe it? Fall of 2014 marks the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of YOSHITOSHI, the seminal record label founded by Deep Dish in 1994. To celebrate, we are bringing the classics back, remastered and with new remixes from an amazing group of heavy hitters from all corners of the dance world.

Given that Yoshitoshi’s roots are ingrained in house music, it’s only fitting to start the #YoshiClassics campaign with Eddie Amador’s “House Music”. A true Yoshitoshi classic released in 1998 that went on to become a global phenomena. The hypnotic rhythm and infectious “Not Everyone Understands House Music” has become the preach anthem for generations of dance music lovers.

Transmit Recordings release number 054 comes from the Spanish gun Darkrow and includes two original slabs and a remix from Steve Mulder. “ The Gangstar” original is a tech house track, designed to groove, using rolling vocals, beautiful drum work and housey stabs, the Steve Mulder remix of it comes in a peak time, darker form, big room business and finally “Blue Glum” is a sweeter, organic tech house track with warm atmosphere and pitch bend fillers to finish off this great release.

Paride Saraceni’s debut Truesoul release, ‘Burning’, brings us three uplifting and vocal-heavy tech house tracks. After the positive reactions on "Diablo", Oliver and I naturally decided to dive into a follow-up (with a rather appropriate title)! Not sure why we chose Spanish names but we seemed to be onto a good thing so we decided to keep nurturing those creative instincts. We had quite a few ideas going back and forth with this one, hence the two-part approach to the final version. Conceptually and with the working title, we wanted to take a lighter approach to this one, creating something less sinister than "Diablo" and I think that we succeeded nicely, helping to eventually take things into our "Elements" series. I should also mention how excited we were to have a brilliant Gaiser mix for this! - Dubfire
