In the face of Agents Of Time's imminent album debut "Universo" we're allowed to take a final glimpse at the things to come before the curtain gets lifted on October 14th. For our milestone 10th release, Brisbeats Records welcomes progressive house maestro Ewan Rill with a pair of uplifting originals. Mother River and Soul Strings radiate pure feel-good energy — hypnotic grooves, warm melodies, and an unmistakable flow built for the dancefloor. Adding their own magic, Richie Blacker delivers a euphoric, nostalgia-tinged remix primed for peak-time moments, while Brisboys push deeper with a rolling, underground rework that brings serious fire to the floor. The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotercircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.

Were back in the capital with the 8th installment of the Stil vor Talent Berlin compilation series, which brings forth a group of old and new faces, who exclusively contributed unreleased tracks, gathered under the umbrella of one of Berlins derelict treasures. Neukölln's Blub, short for "Berliner Luft- und Badeparadis", was a waterpark opened in 1985 in the Britz area. After its closure in 2002 the site fell into disrepair, waiting for housing redevelopment and revealing a fragile beauty in its decay as days go by. Like all of Berlin's remaining ruins, Blub serves as a reminder of long-gone times, while amplifying the current tensions between aggressive gentrification and useful repurposing. As always, music is the common denominator and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visuals.

Premiere: Yotto - Observer [Siamese]

Welcome back Marius Drescher for our last release of the year! The Berlin-based producer processed a lot of emotions in his new three-tracker.

The title track "We Had It All" perfectly combines melancholy, drive and the urge to escape. "Last Time" is a very sad yet beautiful track with a catchy hookline and a lot of ecstatic moments. Last but not least we can hear the typical Drescher trademark sound with some 80s influences in "Distance", which perfectly closes the EP.

"We Had It All" will be out 18th of December.

After appearing for the first time on Odd Echoes 4, Moonwalk the Milan-based DJs and producers present us their debut EP on the label, a three original melodic and energetic cuts, with a fantastic and powerful remix by the Italian duo Undercatt.

The Neapolitan duo, Dario and Mauro, start the EP with the lead track  "Solaris" a rolling and grooving cut, with a haunting and catchy melody that stays in your mind right away.

On the remix duties we have another Italian duo, Undercatt. They approach the rework with their characteristic elements and sound design, turning the version into a deeper and melodic cut.

To continue with the EP, we have "Enigma", which aims more to dance floor peak time, with elements of Indie Disco influenced percussions. On the same vibe to close the pack we have "Delta", where you can also recognize the duo’s signature sound.
