Golden Hour and Abuk have teamed up to create one of the craziest releases so far this year - 'Let Me Preach EP’: four diverse tracks of the highest production level that will definitely stand the test of time.

Both Golden Hour and Abuk are part of an exciting, new generation of Argentine producers testing the guardrails of house music’s cutting edge; little wonder they’ve gained support from artists like Solomun, Dixon, Âme, Tale Of Us, John Digweed, Mind Against, Laurant Garnier, Echonomist and Trikk to name but a few.

Title track 'Let Me Preach' combines a powerful club groove with a bluesy bass and vocals; it’s a harmonious battle pitting soul against melodic techno to deliver one of the year’s most unique tracks. The EP shifts gears with second tune, ‘Don’t Try Anything’, which blends breaks and broken beat with a devilishly funky bassline, twisted top line and spoken word - electronica at its forward-thinking best. ‘Terranal’ delivers pure, peak time Detroit vibes, whilst ‘Magna’ closes things out with a warm, pleasing dive into classy, deep house waters, so get on board because Let Me Preach EP’ is going down!

Reculture returns with its installation of ‘A Touch of Culture’. Parts 1 and 2 of this second edition reels in even more friends of the label, to showcase the variety and depth of the narratives from the artists it closely keeps eyes on. Seven different tracks - seven different
textures, emotions and soundscapes.

Hardt Antoine alongside label friends REj and Pattn showcase a deep and slow burning intergalactic dance of ‘Ecstasy’. Leading hard with its thumping bassline, flickers of retro- infused synths and a spiralling melody crusade in passionate and melodramatic fashion.
Taking us along a wave of kinetic hi-hat-htting energy comes from Sahar’s ‘The Last Chapter’. Playing dynamic in groove, it shakes, rattles and rolls along a supersonic landscape, laced with plenty of balearic-infused acid squelches and an uplifting vocal.

Light in movement, it leans towards a minimally breezy vibe.
Jepe introduces us to his world of ‘Binomial Expansion’. Capturing fast rolling energy with its computerised twinkles, whizzles and whirls, churning and clapping - all elements layered intelligently to keep its pace highly-strung throughout. Its array of shrill synthesis radiates until it throws itself into obscure madness, tamed by a body-moving groove.

“Johatsu” no suena, se desvanece. El trío neerlandés Tending Tropic firma aquí un corte techno melódico de precisión casi quirúrgica, donde los arpegios hipnóticos dibujan una narrativa de escape y disolución. El término japonés que da título al track —los que desaparecen sin dejar rastro— encuentra su reflejo sonoro en una estructura que se construye y se evapora sin aviso, entre capas sintéticas y una base rítmica implacable.

Endangered Records reveals the next chapter in Brian Cid’s rapid ascent as a true ambassador of melodic techno.

Since launching Endangered with his Third Eye Shut EP, Brian Cid’s studio output has seen him appear on Tale of Us’ fabric 97 compilation, on Natura Sonoris with a remix for Henry Saiz, and also a collaboration with Justin Marchacos on Endangered’s second release.  It’s now time for the Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and sound engineer to return full force to the label with Intriga, an EP filled with an abundance of Brian’s signature emotional journeys, and deep percussive themes.  

“Intriga EP is a sonic exploration to the deep side of melodic techno. It presents a story from beginning to end” says Brian. “Heavy on the drums as it's written for the dance floor, each one presenting a bold statement, more than mood tracks these are room shakers designed to impact. Written in the span of a year, I focused on using classic drum machines, modular and analog synths/pads as well as organic elements. This is my signature sound - this project doesn't belong anywhere else other than on Endangered.” 

Opening the five-track release, “The Space Above” quickly sets an atmosphere of deep textures, before diving into bursting chords that lead into the hypnotically driven “Fantasio”.  Loaded with reverberating hi-hats and snares, percussion heavy “Petalos Sole” prepares listeners for the tension building lead title track “Intriga”, as its main motif journeys through waves of effects and striking synths.  Rounding out the EP with its longest offering, “Vacio” features a futuristic arpeggiating melody between echoing pads and scattered crescendos. 

Further solidifying Brian Cid as a worthy flag carrier of the new wave of deep eclectic dance music, this EP is sure to make an impression on today’s top tune selectors and educated listeners.

Jonas Saalbach is back with his 3rd long-player “Reminiscence“ which will be out end of February. The young super producer from Berlin created an album which can be listened in a raw without loosing the typical atmosphere of the club. With techy vibes on the one hand and experimental slowed down pieces on the other these songs can be found in a lot of DJ sets all around the globe this year for sure. With a big album tour and some unique live shows the long player will be celebrated.
