When I sat down to make music this weekend, I wanted to make some trans EDM. But as I slowly strolled into the dark forest that is my music station, I soon became lost in the shadows of what could or should be. 

To this I decided to try something entirely different. instead, I explored the woody tones of low mid range frequency and danced with my favorite arpeggios and bass lines. But to my surprise, I also kept the tempo around 120, like some trans EDM music. 

The slower BPM was like a long paddle I could steer a boat with, slow and steady. 

I think the melodies are melancholic but hopeful. Like a warm memory you stow until you are ready to escape from the present moment. I think the lower mid range tones bring this feeling up. And the arpeggios give the listener a lot to think about as they explore their nostalgia. 

The chord synth that pitch up to their final destination are particularly my favorite. I am going to play with those things some more. 

The theme for this song is supposed to depict an android AI cat having deep concern for the natural cat, who is begining to lose its natural self. The shadowy figure in the woods is the other natural thing that has grown so big, it no longer fears in a natural way.
